Subway — Restaurant in Westland

I came to get a sub Monday October 24th at 4pm. A very nice young man named Ben was finishing making a young woman's salad. An older gentleman walks out from the back then rings her up. As she was paying for her salad Ben starts to make my sub. After putting my sub in the oven he then proceeded to make the family after me sandwiches. The oven timer goes off he takes my sub out and puts it on the counter so I can have my veggies put on it. The older gentleman was bagging up what looked like trash in a bag then put on gloves. He didn't wash his hands or even sanitize them and he was just handling money and bagging up trash. I asked him politely if he could wash his hands before making my sub he told me sure then went into the back and never came back. I assume he got upset that I asked him to wash his hands because I could hear him doing other things in the back making a bunch of noise and like I said he never came back up front. Even Ben noticed so he stopped what he was doing to finish my sub. Didn't think it would be such a hassle or inconvenience to disinfect your hands while handling food even though it's a part of your job description. Next time I'm going to record him and post it on every social media account so everyone can see him and not...

I like the Subway at 2735 S Wayne Rd because of the people that work there.  They are upbeat and personable. They work hard and keep the place neat and clean.  The food is fresh, including the salads, and the service is carried out well.

This location is situated in a declining shopping center.  The people that work here should be commended as when you walk into this Subway it is like landing in an oasis of common sense, decency and all around goodness.  That’s because of the people working here.

I would not recommend visiting the area later in the evening – but they are closed by then, so, no worries.  The parking lot is not being tended properly.  The signage for the location on the main roadway is not prominent.  There is garbage strewn through the entire area – but not in front of this Subway.

You never know when you are going to meet a hero – but you will if you go to this Subway and if you’re looking to have a great hero for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I recommend this...

Very rude nasty attitude man . I noticed the shortness and sarcastic attitude but thought I would let it slide until he told US his mama would say if you can't decide you don't want anything. Mind you it's a child placing an order deciding on toppings and we're the only customers in the store. Didn't give him 10 seconds before he was irritated. I left the order and will take my business else where. You are not a people person so you are in the wrong line of work. I saved 30 dollars for an order that could have been 14 had I ordered on line. Him and the other man were quick to tell me it had to be ordered online to get the 6.99 deal yet I'm spending extra money and you are being unnecessarily nasty and mean. And you picked in your ear before making the order, although you washed your hands nobody ordering food wants to see...
