My visit to Bake and Che was a mixed bag of experiences. After driving 30 minutes to place a to-go order, I was initially pleased with the quick and efficient packing of my items. However, the satisfaction quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered upon reaching home that the 5 items platter, a significant part of my order, was missing. Opting to drive back, expecting a resolution, I was met with a lackluster response. The excuse provided was that they were "too busy," accompanied by a notable absence of an apology for the inconvenience caused by their oversight.
On a brighter note, the drinks I ordered were exceptional. Bake and Che clearly knows their way around beverages, delivering flavors and quality that would easily earn a 5-star rating in this category. This expertise in drink-making showcases their potential to offer an outstanding customer experience.
In summary, while the drinks at Bake and Che are top-notch, deserving of every bit of praise, the service aspect significantly mars the overall experience. An oversight in an order can happen, especially during busy times, but the manner in which it is addressed speaks volumes about a business's dedication to customer satisfaction. In this case, a simple acknowledgment and apology would have gone a long way. Balancing the 1-star service with the 5-star quality of the drinks, I find myself in a position to offer an average conclusion. It's a classic case of exceptional products being overshadowed by the need for improvement in...
Read moreWorkers have poor food handling habits. They wear gloves but count cash with it, touch literally everything and then grab the food without changing gloves. I saw someone run their gloved hand through their hair and tie it up and then went to grab food out of the warmer in the back. Gloves should be put on only when handling food and taken off when doing a task that doesnât involve food. Itâs there to protect the consumer not to protect the workers from germs.
Iâve been here a few times, usually go here or Thanh tri whichever js closer to me at the moment but this time the flavoring didnât seem the same. Maybe just a fluke today.
Also I would recommend training employees on how to say their brand name. I love how theyre bringing traditional Vietnamese dessert mainstream but when an employee representing the brand calls it âbake and chiâ or their ads uses an voice over that doesnât even pronounce the name right it doesnât speak well to authenticity.
Iâll give it another try but poor food handling was a real turn off. I asked them to change gloves when they packed my order explaining what I saw. They just whispered something to each other in Vietnamese (i can understand but I couldnât hear). Overall attitude was unbothered so I donât know if they understood what my concerns were or if they just didnât care. I couldnât really see if she changed her glove to pack my order as she was in the back so I couldnât fully enjoy my treat. Nothing staff training couldnât fix so Iâll give it...
Read moreWednesday 8/9/23 Desert at Bake & Che in Westminster with my sister. The desert ingredients are bake fresh. Itâs very good.
The service staff are friendly. Waiting time is moderate depending on time of day and arrival of group of people.
This is my sister and my first time here. My sister felt the taste should be more sweet and because of it she attributed that this Che is not that good. However, I think freshness of the Che ingredients is very important and with a little adjustment to it, it would make the Che good for many customers by providing a sweetness level as an option.
Attention restaurantâs owner(s): I recommend having staff ask customers for a sweetness level that they prefer or ask if this is their first time to the restaurant and if so, have them taste their order in front of the staff and to make the adjustment of the sweetness right away so many customers would have a positive experience of your products.
The restaurant has a nice and modern decors. I recommend restaurant plays some modern upbeat music so customers can feel a high vibe so more will be returning.
Overall, I think this restaurant has high quality ingredients and I would recommend this restaurant.
