This place is awful, bland at best, and expensive for what you get. Seriously, ate at alot of ramen places, and with the reviews and competition in the area, I really, really expected more. I at least I assumed it would be palatable. It tastes terrible, when it does have flavor, and almost like it's incomplete. The chicken is just unseasoned chicken meat, $2 gets you a sad extra 3 slices of this bland cut of unflavored meat. On top of that, the meat had an off after taste... That's the only taste it has. Broth is bland, almost like it's little more than chicken stock, but still much better than the chicken. The egg was actually the best part, arguably the only decent tasting part of the meal.
Now the price isn't that terrible, it's just bad when compared to what you get. For the money you can get ramen with a bit of flavor at least. I'm really curious if this place used to be good, and just quality has gone down recently. The reviews are just in such stark constrast to the good I got.
Motto Ramen is just over-priced, over-hyped, and overwhelmingly...
Read moreDECEITFUL & INCOMPETENT. Simple order through Door Dash for ramen and crunchy roll. What I received was a container of some dark broth (I'm assuming beef) and container of miso soup. Motto Ramen assumed whoever placed the order wouldn't notice it was wrong and just accept it (deceitful). When I called them, they were defensive over the phone and they lied (lie #1) telling me the replacement order was already delivered. I said it was not. Then they told me to come pick it up because there were only two employees so they couldn't deliver (uh, Door Dash can!), then they said they could only reimburse me for half the price of my order (lie #2). Then they took my phone number and promised to call me back that night - they didn't (lie #3). "Lies, lies, lies yeah, they're gonna getch you". Don't bother with this place - no integrity and...

I had their tsukemen (dipping ramen) and genuinely thought it was just okay. The dipping broth was little too overpowering (on the salty end) in my opinion which is not my favorite. And then I've tried few bites of tonkotsu shoyu ramen and it was totally opposite of tsukemen. Needed more flavoring. Maybe my taste bud was acting up that day.
The restaurant itself was modern and very clean which is always a sign of welcome.
Overall, it was underwhelming to me but I'd like to try again. Apparently, they're known for their "Motto Special" so maybe that can...
