I am totally disappointed with the service of this restaurant. Never have I had such a bad experience dining in a Vietnamese restaurant ever. We were excited with Pho 78 because it has its own section of vegan options for my friend to enjoy with us. Pros: the table was set ready when we came after we called, the sign in front says The best Asian restaurant in Colorado in 2019. the promotion of buy 1 get 1 half off for rice dishes is still active. My food tastes good and authentic. Cons: The restaurant was not busy but it was hard to get a hold of the server (understaffed?!) I ordered two rice dishes, one for dining and one for to go. My friend did the same thing. All the rice dishes came as dining and we had to repeat that we wanted one as To go. We ordered peanut sauce for the spring rolls but the fish sauce came instead. This issue is the worst. My friend ordered Vegan chow fun, and the dish came out about 10 minutes after every one else had food. And it was NOT vegan!!! There was chicken in it!!! Why did you display the vegan option and ended up putting meat into the dish? This made us think these options were not taken seriously and all vegan/normal dishes are made using the same cooking utensils. The boba tea was served while we did not order it at all. The restaurant ran out of white rice so we were suggested to order fried rice instead. And we were up charged $3 for the fried rice without being disclosed and it was not our fault that the restaurant ran out of white rice. We mentioned this with the checkout person and he replied he did not make the price and did not know who took our order (there was only 2 people taking order and it was weird that he gave us such a bad answer). He ended up taking that up-charge off the bill but everything was down hill at that point.
There were so many little things adding up to the bad experience and we left angrily because we were disrespected, especially my friend who is vegan. I hope the restaurant could improve its service and appreciate its guests. We came here for a visit and were deeply sad after...

Read moreWe were driving through and were discussing what we wanted for lunch and stumbled across Pho 78. At first we were going to order through an app but felt going in to order our to go order would be faster, this was not the case. Our order was taken quickly but we sat there for approximately 45 minutes to get our order which consisted of two large pho noodle bowls with meat, one vegetarian with tofu, a spring roll appetizer(2rolls) and a glass of ice tea. There were four tables of guests that arrived shortly after us and were finished or finishing their food before we got ours. When we got our food I didn't see any sauces in the bag so I went to the counter to see about getting some. The waiter asked what kind I was needing and I told him I needed soy, Sriracha and chili sauces, he said they were in the boxs, they weren't, all that were in the boxs was one sweet spicy sauce, no soy, Sriracha, peanut, fish etc.... we didn't notice until were were home so we just let it be. The food was good and hot, all the ingredience were fresh except the tofu was hard and gross as most is. I am giving them three stars since four other groups that arrived after us were served and ate their food as we just sat there waiting. If they had enough broth and ingredience to fill their orders, they had enough...
