I had been wanting perch for a while, and my normal spot had closed down, and the only other option was JJFish, which has not been getting great reviews lately. We ordered the Perch dinner and salmon dinner. Let me start by saying the fish was fully cooked, and the crispiness was about the only thing good aside from the prepackaged drinks. This was the blandest and chalkiest food I have ever had. The fries had ZERO salt, and you could taste the freezer bag. The fish also had no salt no pepper, nothing in seasoning and I asked for lemon pepper, yet for whatever reason the lemon pepper was powdery and also did not taste like anything none the less lemon pepper. We threw away all our fries, and I gave my son my remaining fish pieces, but even he had to go up and ask for more seasoning and didn't finish his food. I am not sure what is happening around this world, but where has the joy of cooking and passion gone for putting out great food? You must at least put the bare minimum of salt and pepper if nothing else or at least put them on the table for customers to use, which was also an issue here, no condiments on the table or napkin holder. If you don't mind blender food than hospital food, knock yourself out cause this is the spot. If you don't mind taking it to go and seasoning at home, also your spot. This place likes to lie about giving you a refund for items ordered that they didnt have available. I placed an online order for large gizzard and large catfish all steak. When I arrived at the store the cook who was also the cashier said verbatim I've been trying to call you because we don't have anymore steak. My first question was how could he have possibly been trying to call me when I never left my number when I placed the order. To his credit, he did offer catfish filets, in which I declined because one thing I do know is that a lot of these places will sell you catfish filets but serve you a much cheaper fish. I called once I made it back to work as it dawned on me that the man never talked about refunding me my money. He proceeded to say that he gave me the refund. And well, well I look at my account and he had NOT refunded my money, which means that I now have to file a complaint. You cannot play when it comes to people's money and you will be refunding me my money for the food I did not get. Pay close attention to your accounts. He never has to worry about me ordering food from there again. They keep this up and they'll be just like the Harold's that use to be there....OUT...
