The owner was very rude and when I explained to him that the last time I was there his employee had me leave the bar because a woman knocked over my drink, & I left them a $15 tip they wouldn’t return back after I was wrongfully asked to leave even though the woman admitted it was her fault. This is deeper than a dive bar. It is a SCUBA bar. Be that as it may however, it's also one of the best places to "have a few" in the southern dupage area that it's in. It attracts a diverse crowd and has a very, shall we say, interesting, atmosphere and ambiance. Reasonable prices, live music weekly, karaoke weekly, and toaster oven pizza. It's like the underdog sports team or the cult movie that's so bad it's good. You love to hate it, but you wind up going back. It's the Malort of southwest suburban bars. Horrible service.. Definetly NOT the place to be if all you want is a Saturday morning Mimosa and do aome paper work ina quiter place than a Starbucks . After Googleing "early opened bars in Groovers" for an early brunch Mimosa.. I desided to visit, all the lights off, chairs still on top of the table, barely an "open" place.
