Market House — Local services in Westwood

Market house is my favorite shop in all of Westwood! If you are looking for beautiful and high quality house plants, this is definitely the place to go. I started out with one fiddle leaf fig and had such an amazing experience that we now have 12 different plants all from market house (many of which are at least two years old and still growing beautifully).

The owner is so sweet and helpful, which makes this shop even better! She’s super knowledgeable about everything she has in the shop and will go out of her way to get you the things that you want if she doesn’t have something you are looking for. She has even gone out of her way to deliver things to the house if we cant get in there in person. She’s truly a gem. It is clear that she puts a lot of care into what she includes in her store and only selects the highest quality products, hence why our 12 plants continue to flourish! Her plant pot selection is also beautiful!

If house plants aren’t your thing, this store has so much more to offer. Her candle collection is the best and almost everything is locally made. The owner cares about supporting other small businesses and is just the sweetest person. I always look forward to going to this shop and couldn’t recommend...

Market House is the best gift shop! Chelsea is amazing. On more than one occasion (and very last minute), she has curated personal gifts for my family members. She’s helped me pick out the perfect plants for my mom’s birthday and Christmas. My mom still is the proud owner of a snake plant purchased and delivered by Chelsea over 2 years ago. She is thoughtful and considerate about price and taste. In fact, two days before Mother’s Day I realized I didn’t have gifts for my aunts. After describing my two aunts and giving her a budget, she masterfully selected adorable Mother’s Day gifts that were big hits! She even delivered them wrapped to my brother’s house for me because I live out of state. I have been shopping at Market House since 2020. I absolutely recommend Chelsea and Market House for any gifting you need! I’m sure she’ll bail me out once again with the perfect gift...

Talk about a one-stop gift shop, three cheers and 5-stars to Chelsea and her lovely store. Quaint, laid back & cozy describes the store vibe, and Chelsea is knowledgeable, efficient and kind.

I needed a gift for my daughter's Bday and I walked in thinking July gemstone bracelet, a card, and possibly a scented candle. Chelsea was like, "Yup, yup and yup." :-). Our convo was easy, friendly & warm. I'm already looking forward to my next reason (excuse) to shop with Chelsea; I highly recommend Market House!!
