Finally after a while decided to give this buffet a try. I love buffets because I like to pick at food. Having options is always a plus for me.
First let me say that the price is about $40 per person without any type of discount. On the day that I tried this I had a $10 food credit so I figure I'd give it a shot instead of just going to the cafe like I usually do. I was quickly seated after I paid. The hostess walked me around and showed me the whole place. There was not but about maybe 30 people in this huge buffet.
While the options that they had available sounded good that is as much as I can say about the food that will served in this place. It sounded good, it did not taste good.
I got food from almost every station, they serve them in like many servings so that you don't waste food but with the way that it tasted all of it most of it went to waste by me.
The worst thing I had, was the California roll from the Asian station. These are not California rolls! These are store-bought, cheap, cold wannabe California rolls. I would not even feed this to my pets. It was truly disgusting.
I try their barbecue which was okay. Their mac and cheese was a bit dry I also tried their salad which was over sauced as well as their chicken noodle soup which taste it to me okay, but really reminded me of the Campbell's chicken noodle soup from a can.
Next thing I tried, was the beef tip over rice and their green beans. The beef tips was so big I had to literally cut them like they were a steak. It was okay but again tasted like something that you would open from a can.
For $40 per person, the kind of price that you would pay in Las Vegas, the selections that they provide here is not even worth 20 bucks. I was truly disappointed, as I had mentioned I am a big huge buffet fan. I don't mind paying higher prices to have options but if this is what they are serving for this price I would consider something else other than going to this buffet. To management, please upgrade the food quality and the taste for this price. I really wanted to enjoy this experience, but I did not. When I took a bite of that California roll, I spit it out just as quickly as I took a bite of it. Just from the looks of it it is not a California roll. Please do more research on the food that you provide to your customers, because without your customers your seats will remain empty especially at...
Read moreMy husband and I ate there last month and it was awful! We tried a variety of food from the various food stations and it all tasted like food out of a can, all very bland. We were so surprised at how terrible the food was as we had very high expectations because of the pricing. They really need to bring back the original buffet that they had prior to covid because it was awesome and well worth the money, as no one had complaints and folks ranted and raved about the delicious food in addition to the huge variety of choices. The buffet back then was absolutely packed with people and now when you go, there might be 25 folks there. Don't waste your...
Read moreThis is just the old buffet reimagined as a bunch of small specialty restaurants. Lower food quality at nearly double the price of the old buffet. For the price I could have eaten much better down the street. The veggie egg rolls were actually cocktail size spring rolls. The beef& broccoli would have been much better If they didn't use the deep fryer to defrost the frozen broccoli. Hamburger was greasy and obviously lower quality meat. The salads were fairly good. All in all for $35 it was anything but a good value. No actual service, but they prompted for a tip anyway. No Military...
