Disappointment is an understatement. I'll jump right in. The women behind the counter tried to do just that when I showed up to pick up the pizza I ordered, paid and tipped for. I came in, all smiles, in a great mood, and upon greeting me she very sternly, looked me on the eye, and said in the toughest, most masculine voice she could muster: you know your food was ready 16 minutes after you ordered it, right? And you are picking it up and hour late.
I cannot make this up. Nothing about the experience was friendly, kind, joking, nothing of the sort. It was very much her trying to reprimand me for not picking up the order I paid for within a time limit that was pleasing to her. I was in total shock, initially. But then I told her I'm pretty sure I'm well within my rights to pick up my paid for food when it fits my schedule to do so. Mind you, they dont have orders stacked and waiting, my food was not taking up space. I'm pretty sure Im one of the only 12 customers they have.
I let her know this review was coming and that she had single handedly lost a repeat customer by projecting whatever her daily frustration was on to me. Her response was to repeatedly tell me "bye." It is honestly laughable. I wish throwing her pride and joy pizza that she was so torn up about in the trash would have hurt her more than me, but alas it wouldn't, so I avoided using that tactic to make a point, but the petty in me wanted to so bad.
I think back to a few months ago when I showed up right after receiving the 'ready' notice and turns out my pizza was not ready. And I waited very patiently for 30 minutes for them to make it. Or the other time when a customer left with my order and I had to wait again for about 20 minutes. I was on time then, too. Again, laughable.
At any rate, I don't want to eat anywhere with food being cooked by such a bitter, spiteful woman. I like my food cooked with loving intentions. So, I won't ever go back to them again. If you know what's best, you wouldn't spend your hard earned money there either.
Bad vibes and even worse customer service. No pizza (because it's literally just pizza!) is worth enduring...
Read moreUpon visiting OTTO in Weymouth, I was intrigued by their innovative menu, particularly the Fresh Pineapple, Bacon & Hot Honey pizza. Deciding to try this unique combination, I was pleasantly surprised by the harmonious balance of flavors presented on a perfectly cooked crust.
The pizza arrived piping hot, with a golden, crispy crust that was both chewy and airy, embodying the perfect foundation. The fresh pineapple was a standout, offering juicy, tangy bursts that cut through the savory richness of the bacon. Unlike the often debated canned pineapple on pizza, OTTO’s use of fresh pineapple brought a whole new level of sophistication to the dish.
The bacon was cooked to crispy perfection, providing a salty, smoky contrast that paired beautifully with the sweetness of the pineapple. But the real game-changer was the hot honey drizzle. Its subtle sweetness and lingering heat added an unexpected but delightful twist, elevating the pizza from merely good to absolutely unforgettable.
Each bite was a complex symphony of flavors—sweet, savory, spicy, and umami—all in perfect harmony. The ingredients’ freshness was evident, and the innovative combination of toppings showcased OTTO’s culinary creativity.
For those apprehensive about fruit on pizza or the unconventional addition of hot honey, this pizza might just change your mind. It’s a bold choice for adventurous palates and a testament to OTTO’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional pizza.
In conclusion, OTTO in Weymouth has crafted a truly unique and delicious pizza with their Fresh Pineapple, Bacon & Hot Honey offering. It’s a must-try for anyone looking to experience a different take on pizza, proving that when executed with care and creativity, even the most unexpected ingredients can create a...
Read moreVery inconsistent quality. Won't be going back anytime soon. We enjoyed the first pizza we ate there although much of it had no sauce under the cheese. Our second visit the mushroom pizza was completely burnt. Not sure how anyone could have put that out especially at these prices. The replacement they sent was excellent. Our third visit was awful. I got a sausage and onion that had a very spicy and salty sauce with most pieces having one slice of sausage one had none. My wife got the mushroom again and she also said it was very spicy and salty. Much better pizza around at almost half the money. Not the same sauce. If your going to make pizza you better learn how to make sauce.
RESPONSE TO THE OWNER WHO OBVIOUSLY COULD NOT CARE LESS. I responded as you requested with no response. Nice that you put these responses out to make it look like you care. Awful food, no parking, uncomfortable seating but nice workers if they only new how to make a good pizza.
STILL WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE TO THE REQUEST YOU MADE. LOL PITTIFUL. NEVER AGAIN...
