If I could give 0 stars for this place I would. I’m a Lyft driver and one of my passengers asked to swing by here to see if she could get a treat with what little money she had. Mind you this little lady was elderly and very sweet towards me upon getting in. She even said my eyes were very pretty and guessed my heritage. Once we arrived I parked and waited for a while. When I looked in it seemed she was having some problems. I thought maybe she didn’t have enough to cover for her treat, so I decided to go in and cover what she could not. Upon entering, I asked if I could cover her treat. The manager was who was at the front taking orders immediately said she was band. I told him I am not band so serve me what she wanted, this way I can get her to her destination so we all can go about our day. This man was rude and NOT FIT FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB! You do not band someone from a store just for asking to help! He rudely wasted my time by refusing even my sale. I wish I would have gone in recording this whole discusting act of humanity. Disrespect towards our elderly and towards the good people in this world who try to step in! Non- the-less I made a report to the International Dairy Queen Corporation. They assured me to get the complaint to the owner of this business. I just hope they either correct this behavior or find better management. Know matter what she was banned for, he had no right to give me attitude and try banning me for only trying to do my civic duty by helping someone elderly! His demeanor as a manager was definitely not...
Read moreI was out running errands in preparation for a birthday party and my last stop was to pick up an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I had planned to go to the Dairy Queen at 3015 Youngfield St in Golden based on their opening time. I got to the Youngfield location shortly after they were supposed to open, and while I could see employees walking around inside, the doors were still locked. The sign on the door verified the business hours, but when the employees inside saw me at the door, they just continued to work, letting me stand there. After 15 minutes waiting outside I decided to go to the 44th Avenue location in Wheat Ridge which wasn’t scheduled to be open yet. When I arrived there, Nick promptly came to the window to let me know that even though they weren’t open yet he could take my order, but it might take a minute if I wanted soft serve ice cream. When I explained what I had just experienced at the other location, and that all I needed was an ice cream cake, he immediately got one ready for me, and even through in some additional toppings...
