BUYER BEWARE, VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE Don't trust the prices, not on Grubhub or the signs outside the building. As you can tell from most of the reviews, everybody seems to love this place. The food isn't that bad but that doesn't excuse unethical price gouging practices. Here is what just happened to me:

Very recently, I ordered a steak burrito and some other things. Literally none of the prices on Grubhub for the items I ordered are accurate. (No, I didn't use Grubhub, I just checked the menu they had.) Okay, fine so let's use the posted prices on the signs. Well, apparently those are wrong too. Here is the most egregious example. for the steak burrito it says $4.99 on the Grubhub menu, including beans and rice. I get to the place, and the sign outside says a steak burrito is $8.50, rice and beans are 50 cents extra each. So, it should be $9.50.

That is pricey for a burrito any way you cut it, but it gets worse. I drive around the building to pay and end up getting charged $11.00 for a steak burrito with beans and rice. The worker made up some excuse and that was that. Did it taste alright? Yeah. Was it worth $11.00. NO WAY. NOT the way to do business, especially nowadays, when nobody has money to throw away.

Maybe regular customers get a better deal or they know better to not order the steak burrito, who knows, but I will NEVER go back and, in all honesty, BUYER BEWARE. You should ask the price before you leave the ordering window, heck ask them what is even included for that price in the item or you are going to pay whatever the person on duty wants...

Let me preface this by saying that I have had A LOT of breakfast burritos from all around Colorado. I'm somewhat of a BB connoisseur. Read what I'm about to say carefully. El Jefe. Has. The. Best. Breakfast. Burrito. In. The. State.

What used to be Big Mama's is now El Jefe, and the food has only gotten better. For those of you who haven't had the fortune of trying one of these burritos then let me try to explain it for you.

The price to pay to live in the lap of luxury is $4 for the daily special, and you my friend are about to cruising. The size of the burrito has been carefully calculated to fill you up perfectly. Inside the burrito you will bite into creamy clouds of potatoes, delicate bits of eggs, cheese, and to top it all off the most flavorful and perfectly balanced green chile money can buy. This is the stuff your 88 year old Spanish grandmother salivates over. If destiny favors you and chorizo is the meat of the day then prepare to indulge. If not, order chorizo. The spicy freshness will have you coming back for more time and time again.

I love spicy food, and the heat level on this is on point. Not too spicy, but enough heat to get you going. The combination of the chorizo and medium green chile mixes around in your mouth like some kind of flavor vortex, leaving nothing to be desired.

Do yourself a favor and drive through this place next time your on this side of town (or the opposite) and elevate...

This place used to be really good, I would make multiple trips per week to go get their spicy hot breakfast burrito. Nowadays, the prices have gone up significantly, which is fine, but the quality has gone down. You now have to order double bacon just to actually have bacon in the burrito. There’s more potatoes than anything, and the green chili is bland lately.

My final straw when I quit patronizing, this facility was when I went in around dinner time after some sporting events, asked if they could still do breakfast burritos, which they said yes. It was clearly a burrito that a in microwaved from earlier in the day. It was still cold in parts of it. Microwaved, cold, leftover $10 breakfast...
