Swiss Flower and Gift — Local services in Wheat Ridge

I ordered flowers for my friends birthday a few days ago. I was very excited for her to receive them. In the information I entered for the order I included my phone number instead of the recipients and after I ordered realized they were probably asking for the recipients phone number so I sent a follow up email right after to give her phone number.

The morning of delivery they called and asked for the recipient. I told them sorry this is the sender and then the response back was rude and snarky asking for the recipients' phone number. Getting attitude from a florist that I paid $150 for flowers from definitely caught me off guard. The shop seems so cute and they have great reviews so maybe it was just an off day for whoever I spoke with but it was just really disappointing.

Also, based on the photos I thought the flower arrangement would be a little different than they turned out. I went with Harvest Splendor because I loved the reds, yellows and pinky purple colors shown in the photo and went one tier above the "as shown". I should have probably gone more by the description because from the photos she sent me after receiving they were definitely more orangey and yellow flowers. They weren't bad flowers, the colors are just kind of blah and not really great for a birthday. They also seemed more like cheaper flowers like daisies, stargazing lillies, and tulips rather than the calla lillies, orchids and multicolored roses that were shown in the website photo. I've decided to be more purposeful in reviewing businesses that in my opinion are awesome. No, I'm not doing this to get some kind of discount, It's really me and my heartfelt way of telling them "job well done".

Trying to think where to start. What you get at Swiss Flowers is more than an arrangement. It's a full on work of art, a one of a kind creation. Can apply to any floral arrangement, you say? We've been going to Heidi for 15 years or more, and I can tell you to watch her create something with so much variety and yet put together in a way that just seems to say "master piece". Trust me. Ask her for one "Swiss Mix" and you'll never go anywhere else.

So just going to her store is an experience. Kinda like root bound plant, she grew out of her little 600 sq ft shop next door and built her dream Gift Store Castle nextdoor. Go when you've got time to browse and be jaw dropping amazed at the top shelf things for your or anybody's home.
