This was a great family place for us to go while visiting Denver! Alot of Denver still has Covid restrictions with this place being one of them. We went with calling ahead and were lucky enough to get in to swim from 2:15 -4pm today. The lady at the front desk was so nice and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions!! It was $17 for myself, 8 and 4 year old kids to swim for almost 2 hours. There is a big blue slide for bigger kids to do, then a small zero entry depth pool with 2 small slides, a mushroom water fall, flower water fall and then other metal water sculptures for the kids to play. Lifeguards were all very nice and informative. We did go on a hike while we waited for our reservation along a river/creek that was a lot of fun. Beautiful flowers, rocks and a few small snakes lol.. the kids loved walking along the water.. there is a side walk path and then a nature path we used both!We would come...

My review is for the pool specifically. I wanted to give only 1 star but the people up front were nice and they deserve recognition. Beyond that I am highly disappointed. The pool water was over-chlorinated. The men's locker room doesn't have sufficient privacy for changing. The rules are ridiculous and totally sucked all the fun outta the room. They have an incredulous rule that you must have a tube aroubd your body at all times. How am i supposed to teach my child to go to the bottom of the deep end with tubes wrapped around us. Oh, and if you jump into the deep end without one they'll cause a scene and admonish you, adult or not, as if they have some sort of authority over you as a person. If you're easily pleased then have at it, hoss. If not...I recommend elsewhere. They'll likely respond to this with some sort of abhorrent deflection...I'm not exaggerating and I'm not lying. I want...

This is my neighborhood park and it has a special place in my heart. There is a basketball court, a rec center with outdoor pool, baseball field, grass area for soccer or other activities, 2 playgrounds, a covered area with grills, a trail along Clear Creek, and also a makerspace. I think the Clear Creek Trail is what really makes this park stand out. I am not sure just how long the trail spans, but I have biked from Golden to Westminster so it is quite long and, for the most part, well-maintained and pretty. The trail right by Anderson Park in particular is very peaceful and full of vegetation. The park also holds events every now and then such as the Carnation Festival...

Wild Beginnings Nature School operates in Colorado and Idaho and has both infant and toddler classes three days a week in Wheat Ridge. Our oldest kiddos loved the class and we’ll be back to experience more. Let us know where we should explore next! #denver #wheatridge #wildbeginnings #thingstodo #denverfamilies #tiptok
