Diamond Club Baseball — Restaurant in Wheat Ridge

My son tried out with a large organization a week prior to Diamond Club and had a tryout scheduled with another organization. The larger club charged $25 for the tryout. They threw 8 front tosses for hitting, 6 ground balls for fielding, and had them throw 10 pitches. No fly balls, no agilities. They were unresponsive, dragged their feet for a week and a half after the tryout, and they wouldn't communicate fees until offers were made.

The second organization canceled the tryout 8 hours before due to a lack of interest.

The difference between Diamond Club and the other two was night and day. The tryout was comprehensive, well organized, and conducted. My son came home saying he wanted to play for Diamond Club. All communications were timely, transparent, and professional. DC made the decision easy. We are very happy with the decision and are looking forward...

Rip off. DC invited my son to be on a team with no intentions of playing him. They already had their 9 kids that were going to play the whole time. My son barely played at all. How is this ok? The coaches ghosted him, except when they asked him, 4 weeks into the season, what position he plays... and they never played him there. DC doesn't give refunds after the first practice for a reason. What a scam. For parents of 15U or younger players, I'd look elsewhere for sure. I was warned about DC, wish I listened.

We made the move to diamond club at 11u. And it was the best choice, we wish we would have moved sooner. My son’s growth and development has come so far in just a year. His confidence and love for baseball has also grown. Diamond club holds its coaches and players at high standards on and off the field and we appreciate that. There’s many opportunities for them to grow, from private trainings, classes from outside instructors, team practices and more.
