This place makes me happy.
Wine: As far as wine bars go, this is one of my favorite experiences in a while. You don't look at a wine menu, you try three recommendations (if you aren't completely sold on one of the first two) and then either pick one or work with one of the wonderful owners to pick what suits you best. The wines change often, but of the three wines I tried... I liked them all.
Food: The menu is limited right now but expanding to a full menu soon (Just added fondue tables... cough date night cough). That being said... I got the cheese and meat charcuterie board, and all I can say is that I've never had a culinary experience like that before. It was like 45 different incredibly tasty treats hanging out on one plate, in no particular order, daring you to decide where to start. A "choose your own tasty adventure", so to speak. I was smiling the whole time I was eating it. Confused, excited, baffled, and pleased. I'll never forget it. (It was great)
Price: It's definitely not cheap, but it feels like you get more than your money's worth.
Vibe: It was my first time in, and I felt like I was adopted. Kind and hilarious owners, regulars who clearly love the place, and a generally relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Read moreI spontaneously decided to stop by Wolf + Wildflower during a lovely drive, and I'm so glad I did! This delightful coffee shop offers a unique blend of coffee, wine, and snacks in a laid-back setting, complete with live music. The atmosphere is vibrant, yet cozy, making it the perfect place to relax.
The shop features outdoor seating, which is great for enjoying the beautiful weather. I also noticed they host live performances and trivia nights, adding to the lively community feel.
While I was there, I had the pleasure of running into the owners. They were incredibly welcoming and took the time to engage in a delightful conversation with me before I ordered my coffee. Their passion for the shop and its offerings truly shines through!
The menu boasts a variety of great options, and I can't wait to return to explore more of what they have to offer. The relaxed and cozy vibes make it an inviting spot for both coffee lovers and those looking to unwind.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit, as I plan to have a photoshoot here to capture the charming decor and the overall ambiance of the place. Wolf + Wildflower is definitely a hidden gem worth...
Read more[July 22, 2021 update.] Wade and Beckie--owners, chef, manager, brain trust, charming duo--have taken it to the next level with the addition of live, fluent cocktail jazz by the Tom Amend Trio every Thursday and Saturday. Layer this on food, wine, beer and coffee that continue to impress, engaging staff, decor that bespeaks a spontaneous eclecticism, and the ever rising buzz of shared enjoyment. The result is a new and improved version of this bold incursion on 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge's nascent, cultural main vein. Because of all of this and for me, Audacity has earned its fifth star. [Original post.]This is a bold, risk-taker's addition to Wheat Ridge's slowly but surely rising 38th Avenue center of attraction. The wine and beer choices and ever changing menu of small plates are in good taste and, well, very tasty. Coffee, too. This informal lounge invites settling in for a repast, sociability with your family or comrades, and, if so inclined, occasional, enjoyable repartee with the hands-on owners when they get a break from keeping the...
