Stylus and Crate — Restaurant in Wheat Ridge

Stylus and Crate has helped me out in a pinch a couple of times. I had an order for a large group and the place down the street dropped the ball in a big way and S&C went above and beyond to help me out. They coffee is from Queen City, who I also love. Their burritos are from Bonfire, which might be my favorite. Their staff is warm and friendly. The ambiance is the best in the neighborhood. They provide to-go carafes for large groups. And my little one will behave for a solid week to get one of their Belgian waffles. They’ve become the only coffee shop I’ll go to in the neighborhood and I find myself recommending them to people on a nearly daily basis. The only downfall is the tiny parking, but across the street is ample street parking, so it’s usually worth it. I’m actually a big vinyl person and haven’t spent much time record shopping in there, but that’s another great aspect of this stellar small business. Cute. Nice to have something in that space that is new. The staff is very friendly. I like the concept of the vinyl and playing records. Nicely appointed. Would I go back? Probably not.

The latte was luke warm, at best. For me, if the coffee isn't hot it isn't worth my time. The muffins are ok. Tasted like cake in a muffin cup. More explanation about the waffles needed - make what you have available more clearly known.

How the menu is displayed is different. Minimal. I heard more than one guest walk in and ask where the menu was. We did the same. More food options are needed. Something that identifies the business and makes it unique

This cafe has a boutique vibe to it and the music accentuates the energy. The man tending the bar showed me exceptional hospitality. The coffee is fantastic and I tried the chorizo burrito and I was very impressed. I had to go back home to grab my charger and the man made sure my burrito was hot when I came back, and also offered me a fresh cup when I got back. I really appreciated that the food came with a glass of water without having to ask for it. Also, the food came with real silverware which was also very appreciated.
