The aroma of Pho when you walk in the restaurant is wonderful. Service was good and everything was quick with no issues. A nice local place to come eat and enjoy. Pho Tai: Very good volume of noodle for a large bowl, much more than expected, way more! The broth is very good, the aroma and taste is perfect. I cant put my finger on it, but they use good spices in the mix. The beef is nicely sliced, but I prefer much thinner, but still good. Overall, it was somegood Pho and I highly recommend it. Spring Rolls: Simple ingredients, nothing out of the ordinary here. Rice paper wrapped with shrimp, rice nodles, and some prechopped lettuce. The sauce that comes with it is great though, but not enough wow factor to try again. Still yummy though for first timers~ Lemongrass Tofu: Not enough hit with the lemongrass. If they added more fresher lemongrass and some red pepper on top of the fried tofu, it would tastes much better, suace it comes with is good though. Its good to try, but for me, one time is enough. I think going here for the Pho is best, overall nice local feel to the place. The price is good too at $13-ish a bowl. Ill difinitely come here again for some local Pho.

I ordered lunch from Uber Eats today and honestly it was really disappointing for the price. If I'm paying over $20 for a banh mi sandwich before tax and delivery fees I'm expecting it to be pretty damn good and this was distinctly below average - the pickled veg had no bite or acidity, if there was pate I couldn't taste or see it under all the mayo, the pork just didn't taste fresh and had a strange unpleasant flavor (I think they may use five spice or star anise on the meat, but this was something else, like it came from an unclean grill). The bread was just ok - more like a cheap hoagie roll than a crispy baguette. Chicken satay also tasted old like it was not freshly cooked and the thick jelly-like chili sauce it came with was not tasty at all (I know peanut satay is not viet, but if you call it satay that's what I'd expect, a chili oil like Ớt Sa Tế could also have been good). The pork crispy eggroll was fine. The bubble tea was just ok and came with ice when I'd requested it without. I ended up feeding most of the meat to my dog. Wouldn't order again.

This was ABSOLUTELY most distressing experience I have had at this establishment. After spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, over the last few years at this restaurant, I was chagrined to note that my to-go order contained (and the manager tried her best to justify) a 3/4 full container of Pho broth! It's one thing to make an error in measurement; it is another thing to try and rationalize with a half-baked explanation! I've been coming here for years and know exactly what I should be getting in my to go order when I order a Large!! This is NOT it! Rather than spinning a tale of fantasy, the manager could have very easily added a little more broth, to align with what the amount they ALWAYS provide! I usually get at least three to four more ounces of broth...which is actually quite significant!! *See attached picture taken at restaurant* In all fairness, the food is typically well made and flavorful. This interaction made my stomach turn though! If this is how you all intend to do business from this point on...smh!!

Like others are saying this place might have been good at some point in the past, however it has gone completely down hill. When we entered the restaurant had terrible ambience, it felt like a soup kitchen down on its luck. It had a weird, off-putting feel to it, and the tables were arranged in a horrible manner, and it had a very sad, dirty, almost hopeless aura to it. There were literally only three other customers, one was a man that had just finished eating and the other two were women with masks that kept staring at us with a wild look. We were not greeted when we entered and had to seat ourselves. There was a waitress that was talking very loudly with the man who had finished eating. She did not acknowledge us at all and we had to seat ourselves. Eventually after five minutes of cleaning a table and ignoring us, she came over to take our order. The prices were about a dollar more than any other Pho place in the area. The waitress definitely had trouble understanding us. My wife clearly ordered the P3 but the waitress confirmed with "P2". We googled if we were even in the right restaurant that we remembered. Turns out we weren't. We were so unsettled by everything and realized that there was another Pho place literally a block away that was the one we had intended to go to, so we canceled our order and left. We would not be surprised if the place turned out to be a front for unsavory business. Save yourself the trouble and go to Mi La Cay instead. It's just a block up the road and is better by literally every possible metric. Will never be...

Been going here for years love love the food and love the people...... unfortunately not too long ago, before cvoid, the owners daughter came from bmore while her pho restaurant was being worked on and not only up the prices but also started to charge per take out container. So again per take out container, even if you come to pick up yourself if you order 2 pho its 50 cents each container that the soup is in. My last order I spent the same amount I did while in downtown DC. I can understand having higher prices in tourist areas like bmore and DC but Moco does not have tourists. Also if you take to go and prefer you sauces separate, you get charged 35 cents per sauce. Mind you these sauce containers are very very tiny. And we dont ask for extra sauce we want to replace the hot sauce and brown sauce mixed together in one and have it separate instead. Also the amount of noodles have gone down to half, it used to be close to the top. And last but not least, also to go the amount of bean sprouts, mint, jalapenos have been cut down OVER half the amount that it used to. I understand, especially now with this covid, some things probably needed to change but again this was before and I'm sure covid made it worse. But this ended up being too much change and so disappointed this happened. Off to find a new pho restaurant, unfortunately. I will say a positive brought in, is they now have shrimp pho! Wish this started...

Food is okay but the reason for this review is because I don’t think they are aware a scam website has took over their website. I placed an online order through their website, got an email confirmation, even a text confirmation. Before that my order went through, it was kinda strange that once I tried to pay, my card declined because I received a text saying it was a fraudulent transaction. However, there were times I experienced this and it turned to be a legit transaction. When I got to the restaurant, they were telling I called and that I needed to pay. However, I was trying to explain to them I already paid and that I ordered online through their website. They said they only take orders over the phone and you have to pay inside the restaurant or they have orders through UberEats. I showed them my email confirmation and also the charge on my card but they were still confused and said they did not get my order. I just left and contacted my bank to get a refund since the restaurant didn’t receive my order. Then, I looked up the restaurant ordering service and it turns out to be a scam online company that usually takes over other restaurant websites and looks legit since it takes your orders, gives you confirmation emails/texts. So beware of this online service called “ simple menu order”. I hope this restaurant takes this review in consideration since it’s taking its customer money and time, and report that...
