Came here for the first time excited about a new Filipino spot in the area aside from Pinoy Grill. The place is small and is only for carryout so keep that in mind. Some of the items were already pre packaged which isn't that bad if you're not on break or ready to eat in your car. Some of the items were still warm to the touch but not all. We got the chicken siopaos, pinakbet, some vegetable only dish, and I think a pancit like dish.the chicken siopaos were okay....I only wished the actual dough was more glutinous. All in all the dishes needed more of that Filipino flavor. I'm keeping an eye on my sodium intake so for me to say the dishes needed more salt/flavor is saying a lot. I love veggies that have not been overcooked but the pinakbet and veggie dish were too al dente. It needed a couple more minutes to get rid of that dry and raw aftertaste. The pinakbet was also on the dry side. I'm glad they used alamang (pink fermented baby shrimps) instead of the bagoong (brownish and larger fermented shrimp/fish pieces). However, it needed more sauce. It was dry and hard so that was disappointing. I've tried multiple versions of pinakbet but prefer the alamang version better. Also, the actual shrimp pieces were not enough to justify the price. I'll have to go back and try their other dishes and hope...
Read moreWe found this place with the intent of eating somewhere else which was next to but decided to try here instead...and im glad we did. We tried the lechon combo and I got the pork sisig combo. Both were excellent. The lechon though I believe would be one of their best seller. The food comes out the kitchen packed and ready to go as they dont have dine-in. Not a problem. Bring it home and it will still be very warm because it was piping hot the time we recieved ours. (We ate in the parking lot and I could barely hold the container.) The flavors were also very good. The lechon skin was soo crispy amd the meat paired with their sarsa made you wish you had more rice. It may not seem like a ton of food for some compared to the price but they make up in quality. The biggest plus to is their service was very hospitable. We met Sean, (I hope I spelled it right...) and my belief is good food becomes even better when the service is on par. Recipe for return visits. Very clean as well inside and fast service knowing you are getting fresh...
Read moreTheir siopao is hard as a rock even though I heated it for 30 seconds , pinakbet is bad as well as their lumpia. I was there Friday and I was told that their chicken empanada will be available at a later time I called and . It wasn’t available at all. When I called the next day I ask again if the chicken empanada is available one person said it will be available this afternoon I ask what time but I guess the owner gave me a different answer that it will be available untill tomorrow. So many excuses, my point is not to tell customers that it’s going to be available and then it’s not. I ask for a refund for the siopao and pakbet . Hopefully they won’t give me a hard time when I go back there for my refund. However I want to give them a good review for their Bangus sisig is excellent and their whole chicken is a lot better than Max chicken. My son also tried their combo meal and he said it’s a lot better than the combo in...
