Dunkin' — Restaurant in Wheeling Township

I have stopped here several times and normally I’m completely happy with the service. Today I’m stuck at work for four whole hours because it is Christmas Eve. I ran to get a doughnut and a refresher. First, I’m trying to order my donuts and the woman kept speaking over me and couldn’t understand What I was asking for even though I spoke clearly and slowly. So then I’m sitting at the window and I actually was watching this girl make my refresher that I ordered with green tea. First, she completely fills the cup with ice and then she pours the sugary, sweet refresher part almost to the top, Then put a little tiny splash of green tea in it. Are you actually kidding me? I’m putting it in my refrigerator and making my own green tea and will probably have properly made refreshers for at least a week and a half. Then on top of it because they were frustrated they couldn’t understand me, the girl hands me my refresher, Then snaps in an angry manner thank you at me. I come to this place almost every single day and order the same thing. Coconut caramel iced coffee medium with light ice, cream and no sugar. They instead gave me the wrong order. Keep in mind they DID NOT repeat my order for me correct them. When I kindly went back to ask if they could switch it for the one I actually ordered, they started to argue back. It was clearly a communication error. They could have just accepted they didn’t repeat my order and made me my actual order. It was not like I drank half of the coffee they’ve given me. I didn’t even take a sip. I saw the bill and knew that it was the wrong order. THEY WERE COMPLETELY RUDE! They were also telling me to “go go there is other customers behind you”. By “they” I mean a teenage Mexican girl and a Middle aged Mexican man. She was telling me repeatedly that I was wrong. That I somehow order the thing that I never do. I would genuinely never come back to this place again. I was a server too once and I guarantee you that is not how you should treat a customer. This was on a...

I get a large hot coffee here twice a day and they always make it right but I don't know what's going on with the employees. They used to be open 24 hours but currently understaffed and now close from 10 pm-5am. It is currently 8pm and their doors are locked, lights off and the guy with a headset outside smoking a cigarette told me they are only taking drive thru orders. When I asked him if he was on break he replied, "I'm not on the clock." Another time I went inside to do some work on the computer and a DD associate with a headset was playing games on his laptop while taking orders for the drive thru and was getting the orders wrongs, probably because he wasn't paying much attention. The yound adults thought it was funny to turn the Wi-Fi on and off as a few of us were trying to work off of it.
