I placed an order for pick up at 12:36 pm. It stated my food would be ready by 12:42 pm. It was a 5 piece tender meal, 3 piece tender meal with mashed potatoes and a large fry, a spicy chicken sandwich meal with mashed potatoes and a 3 piece classic signature chicken combo with fries. We got to the restaurant AFTER 12:42 pm, but did not even get our order until AFTER 1 pm. We saw as the manager packed our combos, left them on the counter and then went and worked the driver thru, leaving the poor cashier alone to deal with the multitude of customers asking for their orders or waiting to order. We literally watched our food getting cold since it wasn’t under a warming lamp or anything. Then when we got the food we check to make sure it was okay and my husband realized he was missing one sauce. He went to ask about getting the ONE sauce and the manager, who finally reappeared, became a bit aggressive immediately telling him “no I saw the cashier put it in there, you need to bring me your bag.” And then proceeded to keep saying “it’s in there, it’s in there” even though we had confirmed it was not. This was such an awful experience and to be treated that way when we never showed any hostility or aggression was off putting to say the least. We will not be returning to this Popeyes and proceeded to tell everyone we work with to avoid the location. We heard from quite a few people they also avoid this particular location. The food was cold, the service was horrible, and I want a full refund after waiting almost 30 minutes after our food should have been ready and having to deal with the manager who was rude and aggressive. After placing my order online, I excitedly drove to the Popeye's location, expecting a smooth and hassle-free experience. However, upon arrival, the restaurant staff informed me that they had not received my order. I couldn't believe it! How could a well-established fast-food chain like Popeye's fail to receive a simple online order?
Despite their blunder, I decided to remain patient and give them the benefit of the doubt. I waited in my car for a mind-numbing 30 minutes while they attempted to sort out the issue. During this time, the drive-through line grew longer, and yet, there was no sign of my order being prepared.
When I inquired about the progress of my order, the staff seemed clueless and uninterested in resolving the problem promptly. Their lack of communication and disregard for their customers' time was infuriating.
Throughout the ordeal, not a single apology or compensation was offered for the inconvenience caused. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for Popeye's, and they were content with treating their patrons as mere inconveniences.
In conclusion, my drive-through experience at Popeye's was nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone seeking a pleasant and hassle-free dining experience to avoid Popeye's at all costs. Read moreHorrible service. Made an online order to pick-up in drive-thru @ 1:10pm. Got there @ 1:20ishpm. Drive thru isn’t working for whatever reason, but that’s fine. I go inside. No one greeted me. I was as in there for 35 MINUTES. I stood in line for the mobile pick-up line. Everybody else was getting their orders done. I really understand the lunch rush, but there was even a time in between the rush where there were absolutely no other customers. Still not acknowledged. I finally got in line to get the manager’s attention. As soon as I did, she didn’t even apologize. She was so kind to everyone else, but to me? She basically muttered my order that it’s ready. My bag was sitting there for a good 15mins. Didn’t want to assume it’s mine. Sure, I could’ve asked earlier, but what happened to DECENT customer service to just ACKNOWLEDGE a customer waiting????? 10/10 would never recommend this Popeyes. Management was NOT right.
