Panda Express — Restaurant in Wheeling Township

Normally I never have any issues with panda location. But tonight different story. I have 45 mim for my dinner break I go in to order my food 2 people in front of me, 2 people to fill the couples order while the guy infront of me and my self have to wait, thats not how they usually do it. One starts the order th4m passes to next worker. Any how its about 30 minutes before closing so not much to choose from. I ask how long on kung pay chicken? Was told few minutes. So I'm like ok. I wait and wait finally it's done. They dish up rest of my to go order. I get back to work to eat the chowmein is all mixed in woth the orange chicken and the kung pan chicken only had 1 piece of chicken all rest was zucchini and red peppers. I call and ask what happened and the girl said oh that's just how it came in the scoop. Sorry panda but that's a good way to lose a repeat customer. There is nothing express about this location. I visited around 12:30. The time from when I stepped in the door to when I stepped out with my food was 30 minutes, which is my entire lunch break and I ended up being late back to work. They only had two people working up front, absolutely nothing was already made and needed to be cooked, which was not clearly specified to me or else I would have left. Nobody (cooks included) except one girl had any hustle even though the line was out the door. They need to staff more people during the lunch rush. They also need to have a better system for ordering, packaging, and paying. One woman held up the entire line with a large order and many questions and requests to sample. They should have had someone else to take the subsequent people in line and not held up the entire line, which was impossible to do with only two people working the counter. I will not be...

placed an order around 7:30pm, on the ORDER the estimated time was 7:55pm. Got a text around 8:03pm that order is ready for pick up. I arrived at 8:09pm and my order is not ready. They prioritized the walkins over my online order. As I’m writing this it’s 8:21pm and I’m still waiting for my order. Did the walk ins all receive their food? Yes. Next time don’t give a time for pick up, and teach your crew how to handle busy lines plus online orders. Seems like there’s some retraining needed to be done by the manager. Don’t place an online order here they prioritize walkins. If you need to place an order online take the drive to Palatine IL Panda Express. The Palatine workers are speedy and know how to handle online, drive thru and walkins. It’s 8:24pm and I’m still waiting on my online order.
