I understand that mistakes can happen, so I promptly called your restaurant to address the issue and find a suitable solution. However, I was taken aback when I was informed that the proposed resolution would only be a refund of one dollar. This response is disheartening, considering the circumstances.
As a customer, I paid not only for the sandwich to be delivered but also included a tip for the service. Additionally, I was specifically charged an extra amount for the customization of my sandwich. It is disappointing to receive an incomplete order, especially after paying an additional fee for the specific items that were missing.
Furthermore, I must mention that the manager I spoke to during my call displayed an attitude that further aggravated the situation. As a paying customer, I believe I deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, especially when addressing a valid concern.
I kindly request that you review this matter again and reconsider your proposed resolution. I would appreciate a more appropriate solution that reflects the inconvenience caused, acknowledges the additional charges for customization, and addresses the unsatisfactory customer service I received.

I go here once a week, I work down Kennicott in Arlington Heights.
I order the EXACT same sandwich every single time and they screw it up almost everytime. We have a running joke in my office to see if they get it right but alas 9 times out of 10 it is wrong. I go after the lunch rush and they're usually cleaning the lines so it is not busy. I've been taking pictures of the receipt and my orders to show that this isn't just made up.
I am also a former Jimmy John's employee and have manned all the stations so I know what it takes. They make super simple mistakes that taking just 1 extra minute would solve.
Today I figured I'd try to order online, they got the sandwich right! But then forgot to add to the rest of my order sadly... I got no mayo packets and no napkins in my order even though I marked it down and it is on the receipt in capital letters.
I have only gone back two times for them to fix my sandwich, both times they pretty much didn't apologize and continued to talk to their coworkers while they fixed the issue. Another time they screwed up twice and then gave me attitude because I brought it to their attention! One time I said, "the #5 does not come with Mayo" as they made my sandwich and then got mad at me! I don't want free food, I want the food I paid for right.
Pictures for evidence. One time they also took my card, they forgot to give it back (my fault as well) I went back in and they didn't even look at me just handed it to me with no customer service. As someone who worked for this franchise for 3 years it's really sad and frustrating.

Read moreMy order arrived having an extreme odor of cigarettes so much that it gave me a headache, the smell filled up the entire vestibule of my office and lingered for an hour after I threw away the packaging. Maybe they should advise drivers to wait to smoke until after orders have been delivered.
In addition to my order smelling horrible, my sandwich was not made the way I ordered it. I customized my sandwich on the app and none of the choices I made were reflected, they made me just the basic sandwich.
Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had issues with this store and I will not be ordering from them again unless something is done to make up for this. In past orders, my delivery was late by over an hour, and after calling several times and being reassured that it was on the way, I was informed that the driver got lost. This store should train their employees better or make them use Google Maps, my office building is less than a mile away and located on the exact same road as this store. Other issues I have had in the past were receiving poorly made sandwiches that were not customized the way I ordered. This has happened several times.
I have refrained from making a review in the past because I understand that mistakes happen and I am very forgiving. The fact that I have had this many issues with this store has compelled me to write a review because it is obvious there is a management issue.
