Having spent some time in Korea, I can wholeheartedly say that this restaurant is the real deal! Nestled in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, this gem has only been around for 5 months but has mastered the art of Korean cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff immediately make you feel at home.

The food is as authentic as it gets. Their bulgogi is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The banchan, an assortment of Korean side dishes, transports me right back to Seoul. The kimchi is fermented just right, offering that perfect balance of tanginess and spice.

That’s the photo of the veggie version of the soup. Very disappointing. We’ve had veggie Korean soups before at other restaurants but at this place the server didn’t try to modify to make it delicious, we explained that we are vegetarians and need a veggie soup, and a server offer a seafood soft tofu soup without obviously seafood but with literally 3 main ingredients- tofu, potato, onions and a little bit of zucchini. Really ?? After highlighting that we are looking for a soup with vegetables. Would you enjoy soup like this. Unfortunately, the server who took the order didn’t try to modify and offer options. The chef and the owner of the place should really think about at least one option for vegetarians or train their stuff to be more helpful. P.S. I'm glad I was able to finally try this restaurant! I ordered kimchi stew to go, and it was delicious and flavorful! There was so much stew for the price, and the quality of the ingredients was amazing! There was a lot of meat and kimchi in the stew which I was so happy about! There were also 2 different containers of banchan and they were both delicious! The staff who took and prepared my order was so nice and friendly and made me feel really welcome!
