I haven't been to a kfc in years but figured I'd try one tonight. The kid who took my order seemed to be a new hire which was fine. I ordered the famous bowl and the tender meal. I get my receipt and notice the famous bowl was $0.20 higher than the posted price. Tried asking him about it and he didn't know so he called his supervisor over. This is where my bad review comes into play. The lady tells me with an attitude that unless I order the meal that includes the cookie and drink, it's $0.20 more. Without raising my voice, I ask why no said said anything when I ordered as the alternate price was not posted on the board. Her response was that I need to learn to order better. Excuse me?! If something isn't posted or explained and you're charging more than the posted amount, you apologize and try to rectify the situation. I politely told her I didn't care about the $0.20 overcharge but I'll take the cookie and drink it should've come with since I'm paying more. She reluctantly gave them to me, then went and chewed out the poor kid taking orders for her own failure to train him well. Before my friend and I left we heard her tell the next guest "What do you want?!". Not "Welcome to KFC, may I take your order?", but a uncaring, angry, straight to the point question. False advertising and poor customer service, I don't see...
Read moreBeen coming here for years, but less and less so as time goes on. There are some huge operational issues.
The new menu doesn't make sense... Yeah, it's a bit simpler... But wth... I can order a famous bowl that contains popcorn chicken, but I can't get a meal or al le carte popcorn chicken?
They don't ask what side you want anymore. They used to have combos that had a default, or some that specified 'a side', but now everything is left ambiguous. If it's fried chicken it's mashed, if it's tenders it's fries... But they don't ask. Then they refuse to correct it. If you won't let me make a substitution, that's FINE... But tell me what I'm getting, or ask me what I want.
They used to beg us to fill out the surveys on receipts, but I guess they must know people are not happy... They don't ask us to anymore, they don't even give us receipts anymore... They don't even ask us if we want a receipt... They just don't give you one... This lack of openness to feedback is the worst part.
I have my own issues with the Taco Bell side of the business, and have reviewed that separately, but the absence of the TB app is...
Read morePricing was bad. $10 for a chicken sandwich combo meal? I could have gone to chick fil a and gotten better food for like $7. When i was in high school i worked in the food service industry. And my knowledge from that i can tell the food is deffinitly not fresh at all. The food tastes of dirty oil. Which occurs when you cook multiple seasoned items in the same pressure cooker. Seasoning tends to come off and seasong the oil to make it taste bad. The oil also tastes bad because oil eventually breaks down after oh so many hours. Or being cooked at to high of a temperature which changes the oils molecular structure.
Also by judging by taste, it tasted like they cooked everything in the morning and left everything under a heat lamp. Which also dehydrates the oil and gives it a really bad taste.
Overall i dont recommend. Its still true. If you want chicken go to chick fil a. Relatively speaking they make their food fresh because they...
