Saw this place nearby when searching for a new place to try. Friends and I ordered for a game night, I ordered the Pork Ramen and Philadelphia roll. The Ramen broth was light and tasty, the pork was tasty as well but could use more char in my opinion, I enjoy that they use the small noodles here and give you a good amount. But the egg was a let down not a soft boiled ramen egg like I'm used to from other local Ramen places I've been too. And I have had better Ramen overall but it was still good and I'd likely order it again do to how close this place is to me. I'm not normally big on sushi and I found the roll I got to be quite good. My friends got a assortment of sushi and fried rice. My friends and I who didn't have any raw fish were fine but of the 2 that had raw fish one was violently ill with food poisoning and the other has been feeling pretty off since he had it. Unfortunately it seems the quality of the fish is in question here if it's raw. Stick to the cooked fish to be safe or none sushi items all together. It's very unfortunate as this would have been a great spot but now it seems we won't...
Read moreI have a problem. Half my family loves ramen. Half loves sushi. Some love both, but finding a place that has both sushi and ramen is not easy. Well Osaku Sushi & Ramen is the answer for everything I have looking for. We ordered salmon, eel, and tuna sushi and sashimi for the sushi lovers and it was fantastic. The eel sauce was nice and bold and not too sweet. The scallion yellow tail rolls were fantastic. For the ramen lovers we shrimp tempura spicy ramen. I did not have any, but I was told it was great. We also got the chicken teriyaki meal. It came with a salad (carrot ginger dressing, very good), and Miso soup which was fantastic. The teriyaki was not too sweet either which was a nice change. We also got an extra Miso soup (I love Miso soup) and crab Rangoon. Yeah, an odd one for a ramen place, but it was just fantastic to be honest. All in all a wonderful experience and we will be back for more. Looking forward to trying some more of the sushi dishes and a lot more tuna and eel! It was...
Read moreCraving salmon sashimi on a Friday night, I stumbled upon this gem—and it did not disappoint. I ordered their famous Sake Don (fresh salmon sashimi over rice), the Godzilla Roll, and two boba milk teas. Let me just say, after three years in the area, this is hands-down some of the freshest and best salmon sashimi I’ve ever had—silky, fragrant-free, and beautifully presented with crisp, fresh veggies.
What impressed me even more? This was a pickup order, yet they included a generous amount of soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger without me even asking—a rarity in most places where you have to beg for extras. The staff were warm and welcoming, and though the restaurant itself is simple, it’s spotless and brims with local charm.
