My absolute FAVORITE cream shop that is also locally-owned and family-operated! Sibling duo Stephanie and Alex are always on-hand, overseeing operations and passing on A++ customer service.

This is a seasonal shop and I count the days between when they close in October and open in the spring with a weather-driven open date.

You can’t go wrong with generous portions of Wisconsin’s Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream in a plethora of flavors (over 60!). They even let you have samples to help you make up your mind!

The Spot is a traditional ice cream store that sells premium ice cream. The staff told me there are 50 flavors to choose from including some Italian ice flavors. The flavor choices are vast with some having whimsical names. The ice cream is super smooth and fresh. Kids love trying the exotic flavors. There is a lable for each ice cream that provides a description of the flavor. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They have those little sample spoons so you can try a flavor before you buy it. This place just opened 2 blocks away from my home ARLINGTON NEEDED THIS! The flavors are delish even talking about it makes me want some more! Since I went with 3 other people we decided to do the Giant bowl which you get to chose like 15 scoops of ice cream - it was definitely an experience and I enjoyed the great customer service as well!
