After our friends raving about Meet Market on Facebook, we were traveling home from our spring break road trip and since we were near White Bear Lake had to finish the weekend with an amazing meal, and being a big supporters of local dives decided to try it for the first time. We all shared the Boneless Wings ($8.00) were essentially chicken bites drizzled in their boneless sauce and served with ranch. Much better than the big local chain!! Our youngest had the Kids Meal w Grilled Cheese & Fries + Soda ($6.00) and he was very happy (and didnt try to steal any of the fries I had to bring home so I knew he was full) We also got the Cowboy Burger ($11.50) - a stacked Bacon, Cheddar, Onion Ring, BBQ Sauce burger (with Jalapenos!) that my middle son devoured. Our oldest got the Poutine Burger ($11.50), which is Pulled Pork, Cheese Curds, French Fries, Onion-Bacon Gravy. As a growing 15 year old he crushed it. My wife and I each got the monthly special: the MARKET CALI ($12.50) - a spectacular 7oz Grilled Angus Patty, American Cheese, Deep Fried Avocado, Sweet Habanero Bacon, Housemade Pickles, LTO, Garlic Mayo on Grilled Honey Brioche Bun. I could not fit it in my large mouth with it being so big and the size lended to me taking half my fries home. My wife also got the amazing Siracha Tots ($1.50), which were absolutely AMAZING and served with a lemon aioli, and us other 3 boys got a Side Fry ($1.50) A Coke Self service foutain with 6 options provides us each a Soda ($1.75 ea.) to wash down the delicious burgers It definitely won't be our last visit and really enjoyed this food, the vibe, the staff, and the experience.

I've been wanting to try this place since I moved here last summer. I finally stopped in tonight, and, wow! I'm completely blown away! It's a small, dinky shop...unassuming. But, the sandwiches they churn out are PHENOMENAL!!! I got a half-Market Club and a cup of Chicken and Wild Rice soup. I don't really like most sandwich breads but the sourdough was so good--crispy on the outside yet thick, springy, and flavorful! They load the sandwiches up with so many toppings that you don't feel like you're just eating bread. All of the ingredients taste so fresh! The candied bacon absolutely brought the whole sandwich together! I can't recommend it enough! The soup was also fantastic! I didn't have enough room in my belly after that half of the club so I'll be bringing it to work with me tomorrow. The guy at the table next to me recommended the Chicken Bacon Cheddar sandwich and says that's the only one he ever gets. I honestly can't wait until I'm in my next sandwich mood so I can stop here and try something else!

I have officially made it 26 Years in life without a review, however this needs to be shared. My girlfriend and I put in a pickup order today (05/04/25). Two sandwich’s and 2 sides of coleslaw, super difficult order right? I ordered on their website and was given a time estimate of 30 minutes, pick up at 1:53 PM. I arrived at my allotted time and the restaurant was fairly busy. There were 6-8 people waiting in line to order at the store so I hung out for a second. I asked the lady at the front about my pickup and she said it would be a few minutes. Mind you, this is a very small place and you can see the cooks and kitchen right in front of you. I brushed it off because they were busy and I’ve worked in this industry before and understand busy times. I continued to watch every order in the place come out before mine. Every single person ordering at the store got their food before me along with 3 DoorDash orders and 2 grub hub orders. By this time, I had been waiting for 20 minutes. I’m not one to ever complain, but this was over the top. I asked what was going on as this was getting ridiculous. All three staff members immediately got defensive and sassy right in my face of this small establishment. I received comments such as “can’t you see how busy we are” and “don’t expect to get fast service on Saturday or Sunday”. I couldn’t believe the reactions of the employees and it was extremely unprofessional. I asked who orders online to also wait 25 minutes in the store? If I had wanted to wait for 25 minutes in store, I would have skipped the online ordering and drove right there. They were busy yes, but since when is it okay for DoorDash orders and in store orders to come out before an online order with an expected pickup time? If you are going to say be here for your order at this time, extremely unprofessional to leave me hanging for 25 minutes and then get rude when I’m rightfully annoyed. From someone that has been here multiple times and mostly enjoyed the food, I will never step foot in this place again. Your employees need a serious lesson in customer service and expectations. If I could give zero stars for this review I would....

We waited 25 minutes. The place was pretty slow. 2 sets of people that came in after us and ordered to go got their food and left long before we got our food. When we finally got our food, the order was wrong. Instead of waiting another 25 minutes while my husband's food got cold for mine to be fixed, we asked for a refund. The guy told us the people eho got their food after us phoned in their order. We literally watched them order at the counter and leave 10 minutes after they came in. This definitely wasn't a case of "they called in their orders." We watched another group of people sitting at the counter before we got there get only half of their food and have to wait over 10 minutes for the other half. The guy bringing the orders out to people triple checking who it was going to because the entire staff had no idea who ordered what. The one in charge told us it was because he had a new guy on the grill, and told us he wished there was something he could do for us with no sincerity whatsoever. They had a sign up stating they were under new ownership. We got there at around 9pm and literally didn't leave until 9:40 with no food. He said he could keep the food we got, but it didn't do me any good as I ordered gluten free due to an allergy and was given a gluten sandwich. I couldn't eat it. They also didn't figure it out until after giving us the food. They all questioned each other wondering out loud if they gave me the right sandwich before asking me to open it and check. Thanks, guys. You could have double checked before you even handed it to me. We thankfully got a refund at least, and now 40+ minutes later are finally looking for something else to eat. I don't know if it's the change in ownership as this place has multiple glowing reviews on google, but I definitely won't be stepping foot in here again. I can only imagine how much more of a joke this place is when it's...
