Taco John's — Restaurant in White Bear Lake

I was not impressed today. I live right smack dab in the middle between this Taco John's and the Oakdale Taco John's. My experiences at both have recently been underwhelming. My last visit to the Oakdale one I was the 4th car in line in the drive thru and I was stuck in the drive thru line for over a half an hour. Had there been another lane to exit I would have after 10 minutes but was forced to stay so I just kept my order because by this point I had a hungry wife at home that would have been very annoyed had I had to go somewhere else and take more time. I got a sorry from the cashier at the window and I told them I was mad about the wait and all I got was a sorry with no explanation. I think every single worker at The Oakdale location is on drugs and should be fired as they are wasting everyone's gas and valuable time. But at least Oakdale knows how to make a good chicken street Taco. This location doesn't. I tried this location today instead of the Oakdale one due to the slow stoned workers at the Oakdale location and this location the street tacos were bland. Not enough of the garlic sauce on it, too much lettuce, not enough pico or cheese on it. In fact if this was my first time trying a Taco John's Street Taco that would give me the opinion that Taco John's sucks at it and I would probably never order that item again had I not known how good the Oakdale location does it. This White Bear location used to be one of the better locations but not anymore. And they didn't even have pico out on the sauce bar like they normally do. After today's bland experience and the Oakdale locations pot head workers slowness I don't know how much in a hurry I will be in to rush back to Taco John's...

Terrible service, we'll never go there again! My wife and I went through the drive thru on Sunday 10/9/16 at 7:00pm. We were surprised because there were 2 cars in line already. It took 20 minutes to get to the drive thru window to pay and our food still wasn't ready. I asked how it could take so long and was told "we're busy" with an attitude. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I was speaking to her. Her name was Mayia. She said there were a lot of people inside, I could see inside and there were 2 people in the restaurant. At that point I said I didn't want to wait any longer, she said ok and closed the window in my face and walked away. Not once did she apologize for the wait, she did nothing to try to satisfy an unhappy customer. Most places would have offered to give me a couple of bucks off for having to wait 20 minutes for my food at a fast food restaurant. I used to go there every Tuesday night after Raquetball but never again. Even then the service had been getting so slow that there were always people waiting in line. It's too bad, there aren't a lot of options in White Bear. Maybe that's why...

I rate my last experience at taco johns a 2 star. I could see that the employees were overwhelmed and annoyed. One of them was in tears. Taco Tuesdays are busy but we had a small order and it took them 12 minutes to get out 2 items off the menu. Meanwhile while I waited for my family's food my meal got cold. Plus the order was made wrong. They put two soft shells together to make a chalupa.... the line was a mess, I could see my tacos slide across all the tomatoes and lettuce and other left overs from the previous orders. Also the girl that was in tears didn't have her shoes on when she left the line. It's very important to your customers that your line and staff are well maintained because it makes it feel uncomfortable for your guests to eat in and have a...
