Ricardo's Pub Pizza — Restaurant in White Bear Township

Life long WBL resident looking for a new pizza place to try out. I drove across town to pick up and try Ricardo’s. Super nice people on the phone, super nice when I went to pay. Place was super clean inside, solid operation. Pizza smell lit up my car right away on the way home. I will tell you that smell is still there 2 days later and I love it. Kids really enjoyed their pizza. My wife and I had a pepp/sausage/green pepper/onion large and thought it was great as well. Crispy outside crust, perfectly cooked, tasty all the way. Had read on nextdoor app that they had the best pizza fries... I have been on a search for pizza fries like Ronnallys in North St. Paul in the 80's. Walked in to pick up. The owner and gentlemen were so friendly. They both have tons of pizza experience. So helpful and very much care about what folks think. So, I am picky about my pizza fries. Theirs were very good. Not what I was looking for but still very good. Crust has just the right crunch. Wasn't as thick as I like them. The sauce was good. This is the first time I have been to Ricardo's. Always looking for a great pizza that is similar to my favorite Big Lake Pizza Factory. Well Ricardo's has fit that bill. We live up north but this is right on the way to my daughter's in St Paul. Great thin crust but not paper thin. Great toppings and cheesy! On top of having a great pizza, outstanding customer service!!! And that establishment is exceptionally clean.
