I’m so conflicted because the service and team are amazing. They do an excellent job of pushing during rushes and have a quick throughput. If you do not have dietary restrictions take this review as a 4/5. Great team, decent atmosphere, good food, but it’s a little pricy for casual dining.
Here’s where it significantly drops: if you are gluten free 1/5 stars for food, 5/5 for service. Recently Punch switch pizza crusts. It’s horrible. It’s not with the over $20 for a vegetarian pre-built pizza. This was one of the last pizza places someone who is gf could get a hand tossed pizza and now they sell pre-made crust that tastes like Udi’s White Bread. It’s horrible. Truly just buy frozen grocery store for half the cost.
The original gf was worth its price, but they changed saying it was an effort for more consistent stock. That’s BS to anyone who has worked in food. They just don’t want to dedicate the energy it would take to have better stock/demand/understanding of critical foods.
Do not go here anymore if you eat gluten free and spread the word. But the team is wonderful and...
Read moreI was there on Saturday and ordered a pizza with gluten free crust, I also ordered a salad that comes with focaccia bread, I wasn’t asked if I wanted that gluten free as well and I forgot about it until after I had paid for my food, I asked her if it was too late to change it, the girl was hesitant to ask if it was too late, when she ended up asking they told me it was $5 extra which I knew that and was fine paying for it, I wasn’t trying to get it for free. I was semi bothered by that experience because it should also be their job to ask me if I wanted that to be gluten free as well since I had ordered a gluten free pizza. People who order something gluten free order it for a reason and we don’t want something that isn’t gluten free because we can’t eat it, I would have thrown it away otherwise and that’s a waste. Coming from customer service, that extra gluten free item would have been money in their pockets so it would benefit for them as well. It’s so important to ask people if they are requesting something gluten free. Regardless if it is...
Read moreUpdate/Edit: I wish the salad came out before the pizza. Today, we were almost done with our pizzas when the salad finally arrived. This seems to be the norm the last year or more. Frustrating.
Punch is simply doing it right. They delayed their opening for what felt like forever, but you can see that the effort paid off. When I went there, the line was to the door. You'd think the staff would be scrambling, but they were polished, calm, friendly, and helpful. They were all smiles. I could hear the. communicating well between themselves. I don't care how delicious your food is. If the staff are frazzled, if ruins the experience. So, at par with their other locations, my visit to this Punch Pizza was very pleasant and delicious. The pizzas are pure perfection. My salad was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and eat on the patio next year. I only wish I'd taken a picture to add to this review, but I couldn't wait and ate it up before I...
