I am at Culver's in the building volunteering with the Red Cross. Culver's generously pairs with the Red Cross to help with the blood drives. They are even giving coupons to the donors for a free pint of Custard as a reward for donating! I frequent this Culver's often but usually use the drive thru. The food and service I receive from the drive thru has always been excellent but I think from now on I will go inside! Why? Because their employees are so friendly and welcoming! They welcome you as you come in and remember so many of their customers! These employees can do what other fast food places can't seem to do. And that is to be very welcoming and friendly yet fast and accurate! The manager, John C doesn't just check on the customers, but also on his employees!! No wonder the employees are so happy - they're appreciated and cared for by John C! That's a trickle down theory I can get behind! Keep it up Vadnais...
Read moreThe service at the Vadnais Heights Culver’s has dropped significantly in recent years. I signed up for their loyalty program. They provide a free single scoop sundae on your birthday. I brought the coupon in and asked that I pay the difference for a two scoop. They said they have to charge for the full two scoop. I asked the manager Trey about this and he acted like I was totally putting them out. I live very close to this Culver’s and have been here far too many times. They have made a number of mistakes the past few times I went through the drive thru, I have a coupon at home for a free kids meal due to the last mistake. The service isn’t as friendly as it was only a few years ago. I love their custard, but will no longer be visiting this store and possibly will boycott all Culver’s because I put them out just asking to pay the difference for a two scoop with the free one...
Read moreI ordered two scoops of the flavor of the day. I got two one scoop dishes in stead of a two scoop dish. I asked for a refund on one of them because it was not what I ordered.
The manager had to “figure out” the price difference and offer me a refund on the difference.The price difference of what she gave me didn’t include tax and was close enough to where she could have refunded me one of the scoops. 5 minutes later and a stack of cars behind me, I finally got the difference back and was on my way.
Sad the owner is so stingy over a buck that he/she will make customer wait over 5 minutes and have a backup of cars. Seems like poor business to me. Having worked in the fast food industry before, I’d have refunded both the one scoops and sent the customer away happy. A little loss to invest in a customer is a better way to...
