Read moreThis is a great, hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant in White Center that my partner and I have visited maybe 2-4 times per month since we found this place about 1 year ago. Probably at least half those visits, we have tried different menu items, and of the times we have visited and different items we have tried, we have been happy with the food 90% of the time. Each person has their own tastes and cannot be satisfied with everything all the time, so with that said, we frequent the restaurant because we know we will more than likely be satisfied with whatever we try. The food presentation isn't memorable, though, and definitely it seems like the restaurant is going more for value. The service has always been friendly and straightforward, and the sitting area is fairly pleasant. Frankly, the restaurant atmosphere is forgettable... If the owners and staff worked on the service, food presentation, and atmosphere just a bit, this place would likely have a bigger draw and be a bigger hit, even if the food got a little more expensive... because a vegetarian restaurant in White Center is pretty unique, and would likely draw even more people from...
Everything they have here is so good, and its all vegetarian. They are really good with being very diverse in how they use ingredients and especially tofu. They make "tofu dried skin" which tastes amazing in their vegetarian phò soup. And their regular tofu in the phò soup isn't textured like a normal cube of tofu you'd get anywhere else. Even their "chickens" and "beef" aren't actual meat. The people here are really sweet and welcoming, the restaurant is pretty nice inside. Its a family owned business, and you can tell they're passionate about the food they make and making sure they give you enough food to actually fill you up. When I order phò to go, I can almost always split it into half and it's enough to fill me up all the way with a half. Their bubble tea is a little different than I'm used to, but its still very good. -a variety in flavors. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They're open fairly late, and they allow...
Read moreWe had the fried chicken legs (3 pieces) as an appetizer. It came with sweet chili dipping sauce. It tasted really good seasoning wise. The texture was chewy and how they made it stringy was amazing to me. The skin was made bean curd. We had ordered the hu tieu with meatballs but we were served the wonton egg noodle soup. I was purposely wanting to avoid egg/dairy but we ate it anyway. The broth was delicious. I was looking forward to shitake mushrooms. It think it was rehydrated in a broth of some sort because it was way saltier than the broth itself. The fried tofu was plentiful in the soup as well and nummy veggies. I would avoid the wonton myself. I didn't particularly like meat inside. There were several fried wonton tossed in the soup. We enjoyed the peaceful music and interior ambiance. We'll...
