Maraschino Diner in Whitehall, PA, featuring a huge variety of dishes—from Latin-inspired favorites to American comfort food, healthy options, and indulgent desserts—something for everyone. Highly recommended and will be going back again because there's so many more things to try!
Decided to try their Chicken Quesadillas and Shrimp Fajitas and so happy we did
These quesadillas are nothing short of perfection. Generous amounts of tender, marinated chicken are nestled between two golden, lightly crisped tortillas and ooze with a blend of melted cheeses. Each bite delivers a smoky, savory punch, balanced by a hint of fresh cilantro and served with sides of cool sour cream and tangy pico de gallo. They’re a perfect appetizer or light entrée—ideal for sharing, yet so delicious you’ll be tempted to keep them all to yourself.
Maraschino’s Shrimp Fajitas bring the sizzle right to your table. Plump, juicy shrimp are tossed with sautéed peppers and onions in a garlicky, slightly spicy sauce that smells as good as it tastes. Wrapped in warm flour tortillas, these fajitas are accompanied by classic fixings—creamy guacamole, shredded lettuce, fresh salsa, and a squeeze of lime. The balance of textures and bright citrus notes elevates every mouthful, making this dish a standout.
Save room, because Maraschino’s dessert case is a wonderland. Their JUMBO cakes are moist and richly flavored—whether you opt for a velvety chocolate layer cake or a light, zesty lemon drizzle, you’re in for a treat. The fruit pies boast a buttery, flaky crust that crackles as you cut through, revealing jammy berries or perfectly spiced apple filling. Each slice is generously portioned and artfully presented—proof that Maraschino takes sweets as seriously as their savory fare.
Overall, Maraschino offers an inviting dining experience where every dish feels homemade yet elevated. Five...
Read moreVERY CLEAN AND VERY GOOD. We stopped here for brunch/lunch before heading to the airport, which was about 10 minutes away. The menu was incredible. Of course, you expect a diner to have a diverse menu but this one was exceptional. The breakfast menu alone was nearly 10 pages and everything looked great. (The menu wasnt tired and dated like many diners.) This isn't the type of diner that just serves you a bunch of subpar food on a plate. The food here was prepared well and did not come in ridiculous portions. We enjoyed the breakfast feast, the pierogies, the reuben, the country skillet, the grits, and French toast. Everything was very good. The diner is also very clean, including the restrooms. And our server, Melissa, was excellent. She was on top of it the whole time. We did not have any of the desserts but they looked amazing too. If you do not know what you are in the mood for, this would be a good place to go. Plenty of seating, counter, tables and booths. They do charge a few bucks more for using a credit card. (They have an ATM machine in the lobby.)...
