Horrible Experience – Still Don't Have My Son's iPad Back

I regret taking my son’s iPad here for a simple battery replacement. I was told it would take a few days, but after dropping it off, I noticed via Find My iPhone that the iPad was in a residential home, not at the drop-off location. Shortly after, the device got locked due to too many incorrect password attempts, which I believe was caused by an error they made during the repair process.

Weeks went by with no updates, and when I finally got my iPad back, it was completely locked out. I had to restore it myself. After restoring, the screen started glitching—something that was never an issue before—and I had to bring it back in for them to look at it. I was told they would call me once they figured it out, but that call never came. Now, months later, I still get the runaround when I call for updates.

The last time I spoke with the owner, he mentioned a "board issue," which I’m certain was caused by their mishandling of the device. Before I took it in, the iPad worked fine on the charger; the only issue was that it wasn’t holding a charge. Now, after months of waiting, I still don’t have a working iPad, and after trying to follow up yet again, I never get a return call.

I spent $100 on a repair that’s left my son’s iPad in worse condition. Based on other reviews, I’m sure they’d try to charge me more to fix a problem they caused. If you care about your Apple products, I’d avoid this place. I’ve been patient and respectful throughout this process, but after months with no resolution, I’m done.

William was a blessing from God. I bought a PS5 off Facebook for my son for Christmas and it needed the HDMI port replaced. I needed to replace the charging ports on 2 old but well working cell phones I had. There wasn't a one technician in the entire Lehigh Valley that knew how to do this and do any form of soldering.
