I was a bit disappointed with this Olive Garden location. We used the Olive Garden app to get on the waiting list which said 25-35 minutes. It took us 30 minutes to get there and when my wife entered the restaurant and told them we were on the waitlist, they said that we still had a 20 minute wait. Then about a minute later, someone else called our name, saying that our table was ready, and then I get the text message saying the table was ready. Odd. Anyways we get seated and a waitress takes our drink order and then returns with breadsticks and our beverages. We order, and she brings us our salad and more breadsticks. As a new table is seated next to us, we enjoy our salad and all is well. Still waiting for our food, we ask for another bowl of salad and get that, since it's taking a while for our food. After about twenty minutes, the table next to us, who was seated ten minutes after us, receive their food, and we still waited ten more minutes for ours! Thank goodness for the extra salad, but that was odd about the order of food delivery. I should probably mention that the ice water tasted odd at this location, but I guess that may just be something with the city water supply. (I'd put a filter system on the water supply if it was my restaurant.) Our food finally arrived and most of it was fine, but I wasn't really happy with mine. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara, and was not happy with the sauce. From the description and picture shown on the menu, I wasn't expecting the sauce to be basically a heavy alfredo sauce. There was so much of this sauce, it overpowered all of the flavors. I expected to taste the bacon and the roasted red peppers, but all I tasted was the ton of alfredo-like sauce. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals, so I was the only disappointed one. It was my daughter's birthday, and we told our server ahead of time, so after the meal, she brought out a nice dessert and said that they don't sing Happy Birthday anymore, and we should be glad, because they weren't good singers. But literally ten minutes earlier, another waitress had brought out dessert for one of their tables and the servers sang Happy Birthday for that person! Again, very odd that our waitress would say that. So, I was a bit disappointed and likely won't be returning to this Olive Garden location, when there are two others which are only five more minutes of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe hostess at this location was not friendly by any means. Got an attitude for whatever reason. My daughter who's 5 said hello to her 3x just stared at her like she had 3 heads. Out of all the tables the hostess sits us next to a loud mouth. I got the salad and bread sticks just warm. My wife got the soup and salad the soup which was not hot was warm like it sat there for 10 min. My daughter wanted the pepperoni pizza which they did not have. She then wanted fries. Since when does olive garden put cheese all over them? I wanted the fettuccine Alfredo on the create your own with a side of sausageand meatballs. After ordering that about 10 min later was told I can't do that. I was told that I'll be receiving the dinner portion which was fine asked for extra Alfredo sauce which I never received. The meatballs sucks let me just say grandma is not up at 4 am or whatever time making them. The sausage was really good though for 2 small pieces. Still no Alfredo sauce after asking twice. Ate half of my meal needed a to go box asked for the $5 dollar bring home which was the fettuccine Alfredo witch i asked for extra sauce since I didn't get it before didn't get that with my to go order either. My waitress by any means was not attentive at all. The restaurant was also not busy. I felt like my family and I was more of a bother. Also when does olive garden not play music? That being said my table was not clean I had to wipe it down myself. I just wanna say I'm disturbed by this olive location never had such a bad experience from this place ever and I've been to so many in the the U.S. I will never go back to this location because of my horrible experience. Also before anyone says I'm just here to cry and complain look at my other reviews I don't like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, it wasn't as good as I remember it being. A bit of a disappointment. I got water with a rotten lemon in it and the lemon made my water taste horrible like mildew. It was SO GROSS. They must've known the lemons were spoiled, but used them anyway. I didn't even want a lemon in the first place. I've worked in numerous restaurants, so I know lemons aren't a good decision. Anyway, that was the first thing I got and it was disgusting. The portions were noticably smaller. The "make your own pasta" did not have Alfredo sauce as one of the options. Alfredo sauce is much more common than creamy mushroom sauce! What are they thinking?! The service was ok. Nothing great, nothing terrible. I took leftovers home with the $6 meal-to-go. When I reheated my fettuccine Alfredo according to directions, the sauce turned into oil. The creaminess completely disappeared and there was nothing left but oil. It was absolutely disgusting! I threw it all away. I would've taken a picture first, but I wasn't thinking about writing a review. Honestly, I was so grossed out that I just wanted it gone. Next time I'll just stay home and make alfredo with sauce out of a jar. I went because I was having dinner with my parents. So it was very nice to spend time with both of them. The minestrone soup, salad and breadsticks were good. My parents both had desserts they enjoyed. Dad + I both got extra meals to take home. Going to Olive Garden for special occasions used to be a real treat. We'll probably go somewhere else next...
