Stay away... These people are very unprofessional. We decided to get pizza after our late parent teacher conferences. We walked in and they had rap music playing in the back. It was turned up very loud. Before the young lady up front could take our order she was in the phone with a customer apologizing for a mistake, you can tell by the look on the young girls face that the customer was very upset. The young girl called for her manager. The manager took the phone call in front in front of us. While talking to the customer, she said "WELL YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY BECAUSE ONE OF THE PIZZAS DON'T HAVE MUCH SAUCE ON IT" Wow that is poor customer service, I said to myself. After hanging up the phone she stomped to the back room where the PIZZAS where being made. Finally the young girl took our order and told us that the pizza would be done in 20mins. 15mins later while sitting in my truck, we see this customer going off inside the pizza shop. I walked back into the shop to my surprise it was the customer from the phone going off on the manager. WOW!! I asked the young girl if my order was ready, she told me with her head down "no". Apparently while the rap music was playing. The people in the back room were dancing and singing Burnt over 15 pizzas. They had mixed up customer's orders. FAST FORWARD A HOUR LATER... The customer from the phone finally got her pizza for free. Me I got my pizza not for free. We live 15mins from the pizza shop. Went to open the box. I'D BE DAMNED! One of my pizzas was so old! Took it back to the pizza shop. The manager gave me another pizza and told me that my three meat was a two meat they were out of ham. Her customer service SUCKED! Guess what? I paid for all of it. I'm gonna have my wife call Pizza huts corporation. The whole...
Read moreI currently have a call into customer service about this experience as well. I wish I could give a negative star.
I will not be returning to location located at 4440 E. Main Street in Whitehall. I live in Whitehall and try to shop local but this is where I draw the line. I was humiliated by there "manager" last night (May 29th 2018 at about 7:20 pm). I ordered their family pasta special that included bread sticks. I ordered online as I had a coupon as well. When I went to pick up my order I was not given the bread sticks. I asked for them and was told that it didn't print on his receipt so I didn't pay for them. He proceeded to raise his voice at me. He finally shoved one order of bread sticks at me and said that if its not on his receipt then he can't just giveaway food. After this I decided that I was going to go in and speak to the manager not knowing it was him. He continued to yell at me and speak to other customers about how I was wanting food I didn't pay for. He admitted that he knew the special included them and I was the third person that came in asking about them but because it doesn't print on his receipt then its not paid for. I was trying to show him my email receipt that Pizza Hut emails after you order and he said that meant nothing at all.
I have worked customer service for 20+ years. This is not the way a manager should ever act. You NEVER belittle a customer in front of others and laugh about it. Pizza Hut should be ashamed to have someone like this on...
Read moreMy group of friends ordered pizza for the football game, it was over an hour to get the pizza the first time (3 lg stuffed crust and like 36 wings). The pizza was undercooked or underproofed, the only yellow to the crust was likely cornmeal and/or butter as it was super doughy and the cheese in the crust wasn't melted. We called them for replacement, which took them two hours to get to us. We called at the hour mark and the store rep started the pizza hasn't even been made yet. When we finally got the second batch it was even more undercooked to where the driver was able to stick their finger through it. She apologized and too the pizza back. The manager Charlie then had the gall to claim they were all cooked properly. We asked for a refund but he tried too give us a credit instead saying that's what we asked for them said it wasn't possible to refund a card payment unless we came in for cash. When we got there he was so timid and avoiding he literally didn't acknowledge us, handing us the cash, throwing the receipt then walking away. The only words were "it's three cents over but I'm not concerned about it". This is extremely poor managerial skills and showed a complete lack of concern for meeting food standards and incompetence in being able to resolve an issue.
TLDR: if I could give this store a lower rating I would, I eat pizza hut on a regular basis (from a different location) and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with...
