Terrible customer service when I asked the worker if their meat is halal. He started raising his voice and yelling at me just cuz I asked the source of their meat. The owners need to fire this guy because they just lost a customer and many others will stop coming because of him. Very RUDE and shouldn’t be working in hospitality and restaurant! All he said is that they get their meat from Lancaster! Are you dumb? How does that warrant it being HALAL? Then he said the owners are Muslim. I told him I know A LOT of Muslims who don’t care if their meat is halal or not, so that doesn’t really matter. I was even making light of the situation and trying to crack a joke with him, but this brother went from 0-100 real quick on the anger scale. The only time someone gets mad this quick is when they’re lying. So it was kinda funny to me. Someone needs to teach this guy some customer service skills! Smdh. Dang, a pregnant woman can’t crave a lil Banku and tilapia without having her fellow “brother” angrily attack her...

Ordered Rice ball with peanut soup. Husband from Ghana was very excited to try it. The man who took our order(Mark)...we asked if he was also from Ghana (hubby and I are new and he loves connecting with people). The guy said I don't want to talk about it. Okay, first odd thing. Then we asked to pay for/buy 1 extra rice ball to share. He said even if there is a price...we don't have any extra around. He forced us to spend more money for food that 1) We didnt want 2) was not tasty to begin with. That is odd. A restaurant not permitting customers to pay for extra sides. On their menu, today(Tuesday), you can only order 2 of all the items listed. Peanut soup should look thick.. closer to gravy/curry consistency. It was very light and watery, similar to light soup. It was not very spicy at all. Over all the food was not delicious, the service was not excellent....very disappointed. Gave 2 stars because it was clean and the music was okay. Wouldn't recommend, won't be back, and I can make better...

First off it's Monday I called at 1 pm coming from the airport I live in Springfield and no answer just the voicemail and online they said they open at 1 got to the restaurant no lights on door lock no cars around. We figure let shop around so we went across the street to Rainbows and I called about 10 till 2 the guy answered I said are yall open and what time he said 1pm I said I just called at 1 and was at the door he said we was here but the food wasn't ready yet ..I'm like why say 1pm and u don't open till 2pm..that is BAD BUSINESS. I TRY TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES but this right here is wrong.. if you can't open at the time posted leave it in your voicemail or front door and website. The food is good but not that good to where you are slowed down from doing what you got too. ...please step up the game and get it together ..have a nice day then the guyvsaid 30 mins it's 234 and we are now 45 mins and still...

A beautiful Ghana cuisine selection with solid variety in a limited menu. The location has up close parking available in a shared plaza. There was plenty of seating, with a very clean and relaxed atmosphere. We tried two recommended meals by the hostess, and was not disappointed one bit! Highly recommend the Wakkye if you want to try a dish with variety, great flavors, and some heat available. Customer service was spot on, responsive, and very courteous. If you're looking to trying West African cuisine please check this place out!

We tried the Waakye and the peanut soup. The Waakye had good portions, but it wasn’t spicy, even though they offered it as an option. There’s a little shito that comes with it to give it a tinge of spiciness. We were really looking forward to the peanut soup because it was one of the recommended dishes, but it was a letdown. It was watery and didn’t have much flavor other than lamb.
