First time coming here, 7:45 on a Friday night they’re open till 10pm and I’ve never had such old food before at a buffet. I was so disappointed, the sesame chicken was so soggy and had to have been several hours old, like from 4:00-4:30pm, the cross section actually smelled like bad meat. There was a dish that looked like creamy coconut shrimp, I love that dish usually and I couldn’t eat it at all. I’m not sure if it was shrimp or chicken, but it was the same sauce I should’ve caught the name, but it tasted like it had gone bad, the sauce tasted like spoiled mayo. The “black pp chicken” was the only protein worth eating. The sushi looked good as we walked in but I couldn’t stomach the thought of it being as old as the rest of the food. The chow mein was dry and old, I didn’t notice at first as I put sesame chicken sauce over it, but the second plate it was horrible. Cream cheese rangoons were gross as well, hard to mess up :( they weren’t sweet or savory. I haven’t had such a bad food experience in years. I’m worried the food is going to make me sick with food poisoning and I’m 12 weeks pregnant, won’t be doing buffets again for awhile.
We paid 33$ for two dinner buffets and two drinks and I wish I had of been brave enough to just sit it down after the first plate and say it was inedible. We didn’t touch the desserts again because of the fear of it being old.
If you don’t have enough business at night, cut your losses and remake the food before you get someone sick.
It was vile, no employees were even stirring the food left out so there was a film or color changes as you spooned out food like the food on top had been sitting for a long time exposed to air hardening it.
I’m just so disappointed, I trusted the mostly good reviews before I came so that’s why I’m writing this long of...
Read moreUpdate: I decided to try the weekday lunch buffet in the hopes that my initial lukewarm food experience was a one-off. Unfortunately, and as others have said, the steam tables were one again set so low that even the tray with the green beans were barley warm. I tried three or four other items, and all of them were less warmed than I'd expect with steam tables operating at the proper settings. I'll continue to go to Tyler for my Chinese buffet fix.
Initial visit: Slightly higher priced that I would expect for a smaller buffet compared to Tyler where I normally eat. The food was good, but the steam tables were turned too low. Nothing was hot, just lukewarm. Came for an evening meal during peak weekday hours and the service was very nice. Will try again and hope they turn the heat up, so the...
Read moreThe worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was old and cold. Nothing tasted right, except the watermelon which they don’t even make themselves. There was also a hair in my sushi. The staff blamed it on customers walking by. It was 100% a black beard hair. I walked past the sushi chef and guess what color beard he had? Black. And it wasn’t covered either. The worker took one meal off our tab but with how awful the food was I think it should be free for anyone that eats here. This place should be closed down or restaffed but something needs to change because I am never stepping foot in that establishment again and neither should anyone else if you want good authentic Chinese food.
UPDATE: I’m now vomiting and my girlfriend is burning up. DO NOT GO HERE YOU...
