This place used to be the bomb, but now not so much. The food tasted fair, but this makes 2 locations that the employees are difficult to deal with at the drive up. I quit going to Gresham months ago for this reason as well as other issues of not getting the order right. But this particular visit here in Whitehouse, we sat about 5 minutes at the window around 2pm. Guy comes real quick and said he would be with us in a few minutes, and before I could ask for a menu slams the window....he heard me, but chose to go about what he was doing. He comes back perhaps another 5 minutes. I ask for a menu, he says "take your time", as if they 10 minutes I had invested wasn't enough already..😆. So my kids look it over and finally decided after a couple minutes. I look over, and this dude is on the telephone.... After a few more minutes he takes our order. My daughter wanted a burrito with the beef fajitas. He immediately says..."no can do, they were out"...im like seriously? So we ordered up 62 bucks worth of stuff. I go to pay and ask him to change 100$. He immediately declines. I'm like wow, if I'm spending 62 bucks thats over half the hundred, you should be able to make change.... He was quick to say if I pay with a card it will be an ADDITIONAL charge. Let's just see how high we can run the bill, how about it?? So then I pop out a 50$ and a 20$....to his dismay...I said you think you can make change of this?? He says "I will have to check"....I'm like...WOW....so he comes back after asking someone and said he would take the 100$. REDICULOUS. In addition, while we are on the subject...who charges 15$ for a burrito? This isn't exactly fine dining here. Yall are worse than the burrito depot in Pecos, Texas sticking it to people and trying to get rich. In any case, when places act like this and act like it's some sort of inconvenience to get my business they are banned. No more taco junior for us. I've had enough. That was the attitude at the Gresham location as well. If you're expecting 15 bucks a burrito, yall need to start being nicer. And don't take 30 minutes in the dang drive thru to feed 3 people. We also drove 30 minutes out of the way for this treatment. Won't happen again. Yall give new meaning to "a...
Read moreHad to check the address on this given how different every other reviewer's experience was from mine. Heard a humorous radio ad for this place and decided it was worth a shot. Arrived mid morning and every table but one was dirty and needed to be bussed. The one "clean" table had numerous hairs all over it. Would be willing to give the place the benefit of the doubt (perhaps they just passed a busy time) but the woman working the counter (and chewing gum) was too busy texting to clean a table or apparently bring my food. Someone from the kitchen (also chewing gum) finally brought my food and I had to ask for napkins. She remarked how "I just don't know why there aren't any where you can get them". She eventually came back with white hand towels more appropriate for the bathroom. The red sauce kept in squeeze bottles in a fridge near the drinks was like water with a red crayon dipped in it, AFTER being shaken. It was a pointless condiment. The food was the daily breakfast special of 2 bean and cheese tacos, which were ok but only barely warm and absolutely nothing to write home about, especially with everything else noted. You can get a better breakfast at Dairy Queen...
Read moreI guess I must have hit them on a bad day. Service was alright. I'm rating at 2 because it wasn't bad but it could definitely have been better. I got the Cali burrito. First there was supposed to be beef and chicken in it but apparently they ran out of beef so I said okay that's fine I'll just deal with it. We'll I didn't realize that when they make their homemade pico de gallo literally more tomatoes than there is onion and there was no cilantro in it. I asked if I could have them make me a new one because I hate tomatoes (but i can eat salsa and other stuff that has tomatoes) (I know strange lol) but it was overbearing with them. We'll they refused to make me a new one so I picked about 40 diced tomatoes out of my burrito. This place definitely needs to do better on the customer service. The food is bland and their drink machine was out. No ice, no sodas. They only had bottle water. Thankfully they had something. They only really good thing that happened in the experience I just had was their chips. The homemade ones were...
