We moved to the area last year and went to Wake for the first time. The coffee was wonderful and service was fine. We’ve been back probably about 5-6 times since and it’s so incredibly inconsistent. The espresso tastes super different (bad) some days and other days it’s fine. Today, there were 3 people waiting for drinks. The barista put 2 drinks on the pick-up counter and walked away. I walked up and asked if they were the oat and the whole milk lattes. She responded smugly and like she was talking to a child, with “the one marked oat is the oat milk.” I wanted to, and should have replied with, “well I don’t work here and can’t read your mind so…” I just took the drinks and left. You have your choice of sauce and I went with the garlic aoli. Amazing. Is the sandwich pricey? Yes. But it is worth it for two reasons: 1) you get a free drip coffee with it (and their coffee is great) and 2) the quality is excellent and you get what you pay for. Freshly made to order. Service was...
