Marks Seafood n' Steak House — Restaurant in Whiteville

Tonight we had the worst experience we’ve had here. The seafood was so greasy it was not fit to eat. My order was cold the mushrooms were like they had just come straight out the refrigerator another order that was on our bill come out wrong. Even after the “rest” of his plate was brought out it was still wrong. At this point we were so disgusted we didn’t even say anything else. Our waitress was very apologetic and we understand that it was not her fault. She was very respectful and did her job like she was suppose to. Will not be returning here this experience turned us totally against it...

Don't let the outside fool you, this little place has absolutely amazing food!

Went in with my grandparents and mom. Wasn't expecting too much. Looked at the menu and the waitress told us the lunch special was available. My mother and I ordered the lunch special. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The scallops absolutely amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with everything I ate. I got some ranch off the salad bar for by fries. By far, the best ranch I've ever eaten. This little place packs a hell of of a punch to your taste buds.

I'll definitely be coming by again next time...

I don't know what has happened with Mark's Seafood! Their food and service used to be so much better. We had to ask if we wait for a hostess or if we just seat ourselves. Then we waited 10 more minutes for the waitress, mind you, there were only 3 tables with customers. After finally ordering and being told we could not substitute anything on the menu, food finally came out looking good from the surface. The oysters,scallops, and stuffed crab were not cooked all the way very soft and mushy. Needless to say, I'm done with this establishment if this is the...
