This place is Half Fusa, Half Red 8 Chinese & Half Dessert Drink Type Place... Boba? That's 3 halves!
Had crispy noodles with every kinda meat and garlic black bean sauce... I'm not a big fan of black bean sauce... I didn't realize it was in it, but the dish was still good. Then, I got the honey walnut crispy chicken to go along with a chai tea latte, hold the Boba... Cause What Is That?!
If you are a fresh brewed tea kinda person, they have gross fountain tea that is made to look like it's coming out of a fresh container, and not out of a gross robot... No Gusta!
I know this sounds moderately negative... Cause I made poor choices regarding food... choices. But I liked this place, and I will return if I'm in the area again. The people are nice, the prices are good, and they had their S#!T Together! I don't recommend the Garlic Black Bean Sauce... It might have made me color blind, but just to the color Off White... Everything else still seams viewable... Currently. Also, Don't Drink The Tea! I was bit by a Mosquito later that night, and It Was The Tea's Fault.
Update, Honey Walnut Crispy Chicken... That was good... You should eat that with...
Read moreWe ordered the general tso's chicken, the Mandarin chicken and the honey walnut chicken. First off the service was trash. The guy up front seemed stoned and disinterested and wouldn't even look us in the eye... Very strange. Secondly the food was horrendous. The Mandarin chicken came out looking like intestines or something with broccoli which makes us feel like they gave us the wrong entree. It tasted just as gross. The honey walnut chicken was dry and looked like they warmed up some dollar general chicken tenders and threw it on top of some rice. I have no idea why anyone would classify it as good. The only thing that was slightly enjoyable was the general tso's chicken that tasted slightly different than normal general tso's. The lo mein tasted like the microwaveable lo main you get from Costco. We spent $40 and our meal was absolutely disgusting. 10/10 would...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing food. My wife and I have tried nearly EVERYTHING and haven't found anything we don't like. Their Fusa honey walnut chicken is the best item on the menu (imo) but most everything is very good. Very good service, and the owners will take time to chat with you when the place isn't busy. Would definitely recommend, as someone who loves Asian food and has tried nearly every place in wichita! It has ruined most other places for me, especially buffets (that I used to visit somewhat often).
P.S. If you're looking for some recommendations, try the japanese steak fried rice if you want something more plain, fusa honey walnut if you like sweet chicken, Bombay chicken noodles of you like ramen, beef chow fun if you're a savory beef fan. If you hit a dud, try another, they really do make a lot of good dishes with a...
