I’m not one to put folks on blast and I try to handle everything at the lowest level, but this… well, this is one of those moments in life where it would do no good to bother with first line supervisors or even trying to return cold food because you don’t want anything further to deal with.
Came in around 6:15 on a Tuesday evening and was the ONLY customer in the place save for the one car that pulled in to the drive through as I arrived. I actually thought the place was closed at first.
The first thing I noticed upon entering was my shoes sticking to the floor at each step. “No biggie” I thought. Then I saw the trash and what appeared to be dried ketchup present on almost every other table. The three trash cans were overflowing and the beverage/ condiments area was in desperate need of attention. The dining room and front counter were completely empty. All staff were gathered in the back. After a few moments I happened to make eye contact with one who immediately turned on her heal and disappeared again without a word. Several minutes passed before a young lady(?) came to the register and mumbled something I didn’t understand (a greeting perhaps?) and then proceeded to pop the pimples on her chin and wipe the residue on the counter. She continued wiping her face for the duration of my time at the register and only mumbled when she spoke. After completing the arduous task of taking my order at 6:24 pm., she then used the same hand to separate a cup from the stack and sort of handed / tossed it to me while walking away. On the plus side I was able to get a single solitary ice cube from the ice machine to cool down my freshly poured room temperature soda. So, you know, yay for me!
The fries were colder than my drink but the burger was decent.
Curiosity got the best of me so I sat in the dining room for about 30 minutes just to see if my impressions were wrong. For 20 minutes I remained the only person there with only a handful of cars braving the drive through. The only time I saw an employee was when they would take food to someone they’d parked.
Eventually a few folks trickled in and received the same level of service I had.
As I was getting up to leave, the young lady who took my order came out to refill the ice machine. Placing her hands inside the mouth of the bucket, she’d hoist it to the opening of the ice machine and steady the bucket in place by supporting it with her hands on the bottom (which had just been sitting on the floor). She repeated this process three or four times, wiping her face and pinching at pustules between each iteration.
Fully convinced now that this was not just an off day for the staff at this location, I compressed the trash in the can at the nearest exit so I could deposit my own, and departed the facility.
I can say without any reservation whatsoever that I have witnessed cleaner facilities, better hygiene, higher quality food, and better service by the common street venders in Iraq and Afghanistan, than I...
Read moreI go to this location almost every other day in order two cheeseburgers on the app before I go into work. My app said my order was ready it gave me my code for that specific address store. I pull up to the drive-thru and she says that it was placed at a different store. I tried to explain to her ma'am I understand that your computer says that it's at a different store but my app says that it's at this location I even asked her the address and I confirmed it with her. She told me I was not understanding and then proceeded to yell at me through the intercom. I pulled up to the first window and I asked her if she was a manager she said yes and I said what is your name she said she does not have to give me her name and I told her I was going to email corporate office about this and I needed her name for the email she told me I did not need to do that and close the door on me. I got on the highway and proceeded to call the store and talk to The woman I spoke with in person on the phone. I also recorded the call so I could add that as an attachment to corporate. I advised her that the call was being recorded and she gladly gave me her name Stephanie the manager. And proceeded to apologize for her behavior. Listen I'm not one of those guys that gets pissed off that the order is wrong I'm not a 500 lb dude I don't need my McDonald's. But for somebody who's in the service industry to immediately just yell and attempt to belittle somebody and it drive-thru that's unexcusable. I will not be returning back to that location. Now I have to drive out of my way to a different location if I ever want McDonald's again. Stephanie lost some business today. I just hope she can do better in the future. Read moreCame here at 12:30 am March 18th 2021 there was quite a long line behind us one of the cars pulled up next to the person in front of us and started screaming at the person in the drive thru window to come outside and bring his food to him. After the person in front of us left we pulled up and I offered to give these people their food which they declined they wanted the drive thru worker specifically to come outside and bring the food. The drive thru worker asked us to back up, which we couldn't because there were cars behind us, to let them in front of us. The passenger of the vehicle was causing a public disturbance. He got out of the car and started yelling at the drive thru window worker standing within a foot of my car and his hand on our vehicle so we could not leave after. The drive thru worker handed the man his bag of food he grabbed it with so much force he ripped it and his food went everywhere, he then demanded he make him more food. He went back to his vehicle and we were finally able to leave without our food. I called their number as soon as we left and got an answer surprisingly. I said the police should have been called and I was told "the police were called" I said I'm doubtful of that cause this was a 15 minute altercation and I heard no sirens and saw no police cars on my way home. I mean this when I say this do not and I mean DO NOT come here at night this is the second time we've had angry customers behind us and it's a very uncomfortable experience.
