Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Wichita

If I could give negative stars, I would. Ordering from here is like signing up for disappointment with a side of regret.

I pre-ordered at 10:30 am for a 11:45 delivery, thinking I was being smart. Joke’s on me my food stumbled in at 12:20pm, colder than my ex’s heart. I’ve had ice cubes warmer than this meal.

Tried telling the manager, but he had the enthusiasm of a DMV clerk on their last shift. The online ordering system was just as useless basically a glorified suggestion box straight into the trash.

And let’s talk about the delivery: my food rolled up smelling like the driver hotboxed a carton of Newports on the way over. Nothing says “bon appétit” like opening a pizza box that doubles as a portable ashtray.

The company I work for used to drop serious money here, but not anymore. I’ll personally make sure they never see another dime. In fact, I’d rather cater lunch from a gas station microwave than trust this place again. At least gas station Pizza don’t reek of secondhand smoke and sadness.

Final verdict: If you like your food late, cold, and smelling like a casino bathroom in 1992, this is the spot for you....

They don't love pizza! This store has gone down hill. You may or may not get your food. Seriously this has become a thing, multiple reviews about not getting thier order. We order food and after waiting hours we called and no one answered. Called the next day and they said the order was placed for the next day. So either the system is messed up or they lied. Not sure, still didn't explain why no one would answer the phone. I find it odd that it said the pizza would be delivered in 40-50mins, received a notification that it was running behind when it was supposedly placed for the next day. Also, to order for a different time there are a number of steps that have to be done that I know we didn't do.

Gave them another chance and we got our food this time, but as other reviews stated the pizza was thrown together. There was no attempt to cut the pizza in a proper manner. Some slices were the size of two full regular slices while others were a slivers or not even fully cut. I hope they close this store or find...

So the other night I called in a pickup order. I arrived about five minutes before said pick up time so naturally I assumed I'd have a brief waiting period but when I got there they informed me that they had not yet started on my pizza and that I would have to wait quite a while before it would be done. So after waiting 20 minutes past the time they told me it would be ready for pickup I finally got my pizza which ended up having black olives even though I requested none. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to wait another 25 minutes.

I don't usually leave reviews places but I was highly disappointed with my experience. I was really looking forward to Papa John's since I have not had it in quite some time and it is my favorite pizza place and it just ended up being a major disappointment. I can't say for sure if this is something that frequently happens at this location seeing as how I rarely ever eat it it's just unfortunate it had to happen to me on the rare occasion I decided...
