Chat, this is real. This place is one of—if not the most—spectacular place(s) in Wichita. I go here way too often (or not often enough) to the chagrin of my wallet. The cats have a wonderful range of personalities and I’m truly convinced there’s a cat match for everyone out there. Even if you aren’t a cat person, the silly to serious to aloof to affectionate furballs here will definitely change that. Not that I can relate to that struggle... I’ve always loved cats.
In fact, I just adopted the sweetest little guy from Snick’s! His name is Zazu, and he’s full of purrs and cuddles. Our first night home, he was napping by my side. I cried actual tears. I love him.
The café has a wonderful selection of drinks too! I’m a big matcha enthusiast, so I usually get one when I do check out the café (I add strawberry rose), and I would also recommend the Rizzo drink. They’ve got a secret menu featuring creations based on the resident cats, and it adds even more quirk to this already charming place. I fear I must also mention the adult lunchables, now available at Snick’s Cat Café counter 🤓
Shoutout to the staff as well! Closing off this yapfest with THE highest praises for the workers here. They’re kind, funny, and so welcoming. Without them, my experiences here wouldn’t have been as fulfilling...
Read moreI have been to many cat cafes in the U.S. and Japan, and this is by far, one of the best ones I've ever been to.
The thing I love the most is that the main cat visitation area is HUGE! Plenty of room to watch energetic kitties play and have a good time. Aside from the kitten chaos, the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Granted, I came at a non-busy time (my lunch break on a week-day), so I imagine the place is pretty lively on the weekends. I was just very happy to have some quiet time away from my home office.
I had a muffin and some iced tea, and both were very tasty. I would recommend having your snack outside of the cat area unless you want to make the entire cat population of the cafe your new best friends. I thought I knew what I was in for. I have cats. I'm used to them trying to steal my food. I was not prepared for the persistence of the adorable little black kitten. This kitten was a ninja. A cute little muffin obsessed ninja. This is from an expert cat wrangler. Eat in the cafe area.
The staff was so nice and welcoming. I hope I didn't annoy the owner with my babbling too much, hahaha. I cannot wait to come back.
Overall a wonderful experience. 11/10. All the stars. Will be back for more...
Read moreI've been to plenty of cat cafes outside of Kansas so when I saw that this one opened up close to me I got super excited but was sadly it was unlike other experiences I had. Most cat cafes I've gone to there is no other room for the cats the cats are out and roaming and there is no extra charge to hang out with the cats your normally expected to at least buy a drink (which i do happily)
So sadly to my knowledge I did not know you have to pay $15 PER PERSON to see the cats. I understand that you get a certain amount of time with the cats for that price like 50 mins. But for someone like me that's a bit allergic to cats but still loves them that just doesn't work I LOVE going to cat cafes and being there for a little bit cuddle a kitty and leave. So I'm just disappointed that the cover to see these cats are pricey. (I had someone with me ) $30 for 2 people's is alot especially when I know I'm going to be spending money on coffee and treats.
But to each there own.the cafes it's self is beautiful and coffee was good but just wish it had the cat experiences the way...
