Subway — Restaurant in Wichita

I apologize for the review your about to read but in all my time of eating at subway this had to be the worst experience. Let's start off shall we. I walk in the establishment to get my lunch, as I walk up to the counter the first thing I saw was a Cockroach 🪳 walking as casual as can be across the top of the menu board on the wall headed for the corner where there appeared to be some sort of security device pointing downward. It stopped and just hung out like nobody's business. I told the employee who was taking my order that it picked a hell of time to make it's appearance and she said what and I pointed up to the nasty critter still sitting there. The look on her face was enough to know that she was concerned and had immediately tried to gain the attention of either a store manager or district manager who was on her phone at one of the tables just yapping away to someone. Of course this person just sat there ignoring the employee trying very nicely to draw her attention to the fact a customer had just made the employee aware that a nasty cockroach 🪳 was present and that a paying customer was addressing an issue. Believe it or not I was ready to just walk out never to return again but I didn't. In fact I went ahead and ordered my usual sandwich all along having this sick feeling in my stomach as I paid for my order. To say the least I could not enjoy my lunch that I so much had been craving for. There is more to the story but not for here. I not once received any type of apology, or still do not know if the issue was addressed. It took them forever to make my sandwich and I was the only one in line. The sandwich was soggy and gross. Their sweet tea tasted gross. It looked like they never cleaned the machine. The staff were extremely unbelievably rude. Not to mention the fact that subway is charging $16 a sandwich which used to cost $5. They pay their staff $12 an hour. This is disgusting. In a nation where people are starving they decide to more than double their prices. Your cashier said as I was walking out the door: "That's why you should look at the price before you buy" Besides the fact that the prices aren't listed anywhere, what she said was still incredibly rude and unprofessional. She is who you choose to represent your company? I don't have to look at the price before I buy something. I am allowed to express my opinion on the product and the price. She is supposed to smile and keep her mouth shut. It is shocking that she still has a job. I could barely eat the sandwich because it was disgusting and soggy. Do not go here. Went to the subway on e harry and hillside tonight for dinner. We order two slider combos. The server after he started making our food rudely told us that we can't have any veggies or anything that doesn't come on it, on it. That the only thing we are allowed to change is the cheese and sauces that comes on it. He should of said something before he started making our food, and should have been nicer about it. So i asked how much it would cost for some veggies on the side and he said it was free. So what was the problem of putting them on the sliders if it didn't cost more. Any other subway we have gone to makes it anyway we want. So why is this subway different and have to make things difficult. Why is the watermelon cucumber aqua fresca shut down before the restaurant is closed for the night.
