An insane experience unlike any I've ever had! We will never return! A NEARLY TWO HOUR DINNER WITH TWO SMALL CHILDREN WHEN ALL WE ORDERED WAS EDAMAME, SOUP, AND LO MEIN.
It was nearly 45 minutes for our girls to get their food but we were able to keep them entertained and happy while we waited. Our experience took a turn when our baby dropped a handful of noodles and her spoon. The lady walked by saying "stop throwing things baby!" obviously annoyed and overwhelmed. Quickly, the man rushed over and complained about the carpet. He got down on his hands and knees to pick up a couple of noodles then dissapeared. There are tables over tile flooring so I'm not sure why they sat us there when we had small children. We didnt see anyone again for close to 45 more minutes! No drink refills. No plates cleared. They brought out extra bowls and soup spoons when we ordered so the table was completely full of dirty and clean dishes. We didn't get our soups until we had been there for nearly 1.5 HOURS! By then our 1 and 2 year olds were bored and couldn't sit still any longer. They began walking around with a parent. We were seated in a corner by ourselves so it didn't seem to be an inconvenience to anyone and didn't want to disrupt other guests with any tantrums. I took three bites of my soup and each one had hard pieces that couldn't not be chewed so I stopped eating entirely. The man came by one more to pick up more noodles but not check on us, refill drinks, or clear the dirty dishes we stacked. They clearly were not happy to have children eating there and made our Father's Day dinner experience feel extremely unwelcoming. We decide for the first time in our lives that we not going to be tipping. When I went to pay with cash, she asked what the tip would be. I politely asked for my change back. The lady asked again and I told her I wasn't tipping. She angrily asked if I had a problem with the service and when I said yes, she immediately blew up on me. Ran off with my money, yelling for the man. They both came over, yelling in my face until I was crying. I told them I wouldn't be back and the woman insulted my children. I told them again I wanted my change. They both ran towards the back again. A sweet server saw this all unfold and came over to comfort me and tell me they were backed up on orders and overwhelmed and that is why they were so upset. The man came back and rudely handed it over and told me I needed to tip or not to come back. The lady took my picture then chased me to my car to take more pictures. I have not been met with such terrible service or entitled and rude behavior in my life! The absolute worst service!
Edit to add: it was a two hour dinner where we never disrupted a single table. My children never walked up to a customer, stayed quiet and seated the first 1.5 hours, but dropped a small amount of food and a spoon. The owners are also the servers so the pace is slow! We ordered an appetizer and 3 dishes but the food came out over an hour long period for a total of almost a 2 hour dinner! The service is slow, unattentive, and rude! When I didn't immediately tip, the woman tried to force me by not giving change and calling the man over where they both yelled at me, insulted me and my children, and even tried to bully me for more money after I paid my ticket! The fish soup wasn't even edible so I left hungry and in tears! Tianluo Bistro is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom before we even entered the restaurant they were on their game! We came in the restaurant and they already had a table for us with a high chair already at the table! As a mom, I was impressed! So many times I have been to restaurants and they ask, " do you need a high chair?" I say yes, and they take us to our table where I have to sit with a squirming child on my lap while I wait for a high chair. Sometimes I have to ask for one again. Tianluo Bistro had it ready and didn't have to ask the question if I even needed one. They asked if my kiddo was ok with a regular glass dish which I thought was odd because everywhere else does not ask that question. He is good with glass dishes so we said yes. I went to get my kids cup out of his diaper bag when the waiter came out with a screw top straw cup for my baby. Now it made sense toe why they asked about the dish. This is what we call attention to detail. I was impressed! They also brought out fortune cookies and "chips" with sweet red chili sauce for my toddler to much on. They complimented him and talked to him and us. They were all very personable! Now for our food! We had the hand pulled noodles, half toasted duck and soup dumplings. So I forgot to take a picture of the soup dumplings because we ate them so fast! They were delicious! Tender dough and juicy centers with a wonderful dipping sauce. The sauce with the duck was so flavorful, maybe a hint of 5 spice, and creamy. The duck was juicy with a crispy skin! So yummy! The noodles were also wonderful! I like a little spice to mine so I asked for some red chili oil. To my delightful surprise they make it in house and let me tell you, that is unlike anything you find in the stores! It was so good! A very nice place, nice people, nice atmosphere and delicious food! We don't live here but we visit frequently for family and we...

If youāre looking for bold, flavorful Sichuan cuisine with generous portions and top-tier service, Tianluo Bistro is the place to be. I walked in with high expectations, and this spot exceeded every single one.
Service:
Shoutout to Vincent and Chatu, who made this experience unforgettable. They both gave fantastic recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. Vincent, in particular, went above and beyondāchecking in on our spice levels, making sure we had everything from chili paste to enhance our dishes, and even throwing in some jokes along the way. When I started eyeing too many dishes, he hit me with āBig eyes, small mouthā as a friendly warning about their huge portions at amazing prices. And honestly? He was right!
Food:
Every single dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Sichuan flavors and cooked to perfection. ā Sizzling Beef ā Insanely tender and flavorful, a must-try. ā Egg Drop Soup ā Light, comforting, and the perfect start to the meal. ā Bok Choy ā Simple but done so wellāfresh, garlicky, and perfectly cooked. ā Salted Pepper Shrimp ā Not my favorite, but I appreciated Vincentās professionalism when I gave my honest feedback.
The portions were so generous and the quality so high that we couldnāt leave without ordering some to-go for our family. Thatās when you know a place is worth coming back to.
