Taco Shop — Restaurant in Wichita

There’s not much to the Taco Shop but if there’s one thing that keeps me coming back it’s their crunchy flour tacos. I enjoy the traditional corn shell tacos as much as the next person but I prefer flour to corn and love the crunchy version that Taco Shop offers. It doesn’t hold up as well as the corn shells but it’s also a lot nicer on your mouth and I just prefer the taste. Add sour cream and hot sauce and they are easily some of my favorite tacos in town. I have tried different enchiladas, burritos, and quesadillas and unfortunately they are very standard fast food Mexican affair with many of them missing anything that makes them stand out from anyone else in town. I go for the tacos and only the tacos. Also, their all you can eat tacos every Monday night for only 5 or 6 bucks is a ridiculously good deal.

Sept 2022 edit: After a few visits over the past couple months, I have to lower my score from 4 to 2. They changed their crunchy flour shells to something that very much so feels mass-produced and as a result make the tacos worse. We just had the MOST TERRIBLE experience at Taco Shop off Webb rd. On Sunday June 28 at 2:15pm the girls at the drive through were VERY RUDE. They handed us our soda that was overflowing. It started to spill all over us and our car so we kept trying to ask them for napkins while getting ignored. Then they told us we were being rude when all we were asking for were NAPKINS! Then we were saying how it was spilling on us and the WORKER told us to “SHUT UP”. Then opened the window once more to THROW OUR FOOD into our vehicle. They were of upmost DISRESPECTFUL AND HORRIBLY RUDE. We will NEVER go to this Taco Shop again. We were just trying to grab a quick lunch before having to go into work. That was the ABSOLUTE WORST treatment we have ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. We will be letting all of our friends and family know of our experience as well and why we will all not be eating here again. I am ashamed for taco shop that they have employees there with these poor souls. I would never dare treat a customer let alone a person like this. HELLOOOO...

By far the worst place ive ever worked… where do i even begin? First of all new hires get absolutley NO TRAINING upon being hired. My general manager would dissapear for 30-45 minutes every shift! On top of disspearing he would leave an hour sometimes two hours early. The day shift is full of good kind hearted people, while the night shift is a bunch of kids who care more about a paycheck than your food service. The store has had an on and off bug problem and ive even heard theres mold growing in the soda machines. The day i quit there was two kids smoking weed in the bathroom and the MOD did nothing about it. I worked with a lady in her early sixties named lisa, one day she had a heart attack in the bathroom (ended up passing away sadly) and the general manager thought it was no big deal. The general manger gets away with so much only because he is the owners grandson. When Steve the owner opened taco shops of wichita back in the seventies I dont think he imagined his third store turning out this way. 0/10 please...
