We have wanted to try this place for a while and this summer we finally did. The weather wasn't the greatest so we couldn't sit out but no biggie the enclosed outside area was fine.

The food was great, our server was horrible but we would definitely go back.

Once seated they brought over some water (we had drinks from the bar while we waited for table). They also gave us bread & a tomato salad which was very good.

Our appetizer was Calamari Pomodoro. It was delicious. It was cooked perfectly.

The main meals were Shrimp Asperge & Seafood a la Vodka.

Shrimp Asperge according to my husband was outstanding. The pasta was not mushy, asparagus was tender and the shrimp were large. The sauce gave the meal a really good taste and worked well.

The Seafood a la Vodka was equally as good. The meal was not fishy smelling at all (as some seafood dishes tend to be).

The Shrimps were not over cooked (however my personal preference would be to remove the tails from shrimp but that's just me when eating a dish with cooked shrimp) the scallops were incredible and cooked perfectly (which some places could easily over cook them) the lump crabmeat added to the flavors.

The waitress left us hanging in between the courses because we would have liked more drinks and some ice waters. Someone else brought out our food and before we could ask for anything they were gone. Our now hot food was getting cold after sitting waiting for her or anyone to walk by.

My husband got up several times to try and find someone but after a little while I told him to sit and eat because the food is getting cold.

We finally were able to get someone to assist us (mind you the waitress has yet to come to table at any point to see how everything was.

We had to flag yet another person down to get our waitress so we could get our check. After a little while she brought us "our check".... except it wasn't ours!

We see her, I flag her,, she looks right at us and proceeded to check the table a few tables from us. At this point I was thinking she will make her way back to us..... NOPE!

I again have to flag someone down and let them know we were given someone else's check. After waiting another 5 minutes our waitress came over and said oh, I think I gave you the wrong check.

They were busy and we can overlook some things. Server problems can happen anytime and while that was annoying I wouldn't let it stop me from going back.

The food was absolutely delicious so I would recommend you...

My husband and I went out for our date night! We walked in talked to the hostess gave her our name. Very lovely and kind young lady. Told us it was going to be a 20 min wait. We were like perfect let’s go to the bar and have a cocktail! Went to the bar the bartenders were so friendly and let me tell you get the lychee martini!! You won’t regret it!! Less than 15 mins later we got seated!! Awesome!!! NOT! Our sever comes over 20 mins later and said “what do you want to put in” I was like what the Hell!!! So we didn’t want to ruin our evening we gave him 4 apps and order 2 cocktails.. Approximately 20 mins later the apps came out! Let me tell you amazing! Their Tuna dish, charcuterie board, mussels n clams AMAZING! Then the server comes over with our drinks. Nvr took the empty glasses away so I had to use the ladies room I dropped the empty glasses at the bar. No biggie.. After using the ladies room I stopped off at the hostess desk and asked her what was our servers name because he nvr i introduced himself.. He’s name is JUSTIN! Don’t get Justin!! He’s entitled!! Anyway.. I go back and my husband and I eat our apps.. JUSTIN comes back and ask are you getting entrees. We were like yeah.. he said what do you want.. I sat in shock and my husband ordered our meals.. Entrees come out JUSTIN put out entrees down and nvr cleared the app dishes?!? Now I’m like WT?!?? The busser who is a young lady with such positive energy comes over and clears the table with a huge smile on her face!! I thanked her up and down for doing that and being sooo kind! I even gave her momey for doing it.. 10 mins later JUSTIN comes back with a box and our bill! Nvr asked us how it was, if we wanted anything else NOTHING!!! So of course we paid and left him a 20% tip because we aren’t assoles and we both work in the business! JUSTIN comes back picks up the check and nodded.. No thank you, have a nice night, nothing!!! Bottom line is, if you’re in wildwood go to beach creek you won’t regret it but ask for any other server other...

I’m appalled with my experience here this evening. The careless older male outdoor bartender lost my girlfriend’s debit card and requested her to pay for her tab with another form of payment. The managers tried to under resolve the issue over and over until I told them that I also work in the industry and manage restaurants. They finally resolved the issue in a way that made sense for our party by the careless management of someone’s debit card and as we were walking out, a tiny Napoleon sized man came up to my girlfriend with the false pretense of apologizing but immediately told my girlfriend that our party is not welcome back. Our server was wonderful and deserves to work at a better place. The management I’m guessing is somewhat new and lacks any sense of accountability or empathy. I’m also guessing the short napoleon sized man was the owner or general manager. I would suggest that he finds another career choice as restaurants seem not to be his forte.

Update: the service manager wearing flip flops (ew health code…) and the teeny tiny owner, who Ms. Flip Flop said is named Chris, found her debit card after we left and then charged her for the items they said they were comping for the inconvenience and their mistake. They then held the card hostage until it was signed. When we left we opened a verbal agreement with the flip flop manager that the items were comped. I guess this owner’s word is about as big as his height.

This was never about the money. The food was good, the service was good. The principal lack of empathy for a mistake caused by staff of the restaurant and the refusal to fix this or do the right thing is what is so upsetting. I can’t fathom running a...

They refused to honor their [very misleading] ad. When in Wildwood, saw their ad for free bottle of wine w/ 4 adult entrees. That's the only reason we chose to go there above any other restaurant option because obviously getting the most for our money with that deal. The ad doesn't say "must present coupon at restaurant", and doesn't have the cut out dashes around it to indicate you have to cut it out and bring it with you like the other restaurants' ads in the same book had (see photo), so we didn't think to bring it and just told the waitress about their ad. The waitress said the manager refused to give us the bottle of wine without the coupon because they had to count them at the end of the day...she could've simply wrote on a piece of paper so it was in their records to count. Unappreciative service. We stayed anyway and bought drinks, so they still made money from us regardless. Yeah, the manager/owner sets his/her terms for their restaurant, but I find it really rude to obviously not at all appreciate their customers for choosing their restaurant based on their ad. Seems clear they made the coupon like that on purpose to get you to go there without it so they save money and don't have to give you their small free bottle of wine. Smh. Could've went to any other restaurant, and they obviously don't care that we spent our money at theirs.

Beach Creek is a place I've wanted to try our last few trips down there and for whatever reason never made it. We came on the first day of our trip. We were seated "outside" but it was under a canopy and we we're right next to the building where the servers go in/out so it wasn't what you expect when sitting outside. Our server was good. Greeted on time, order correct, apps before entree, drinks refilled, no dessert pitch tho. Appetizers Garlic Steamers - about a dozen littlenecks in a garlic sauce. The quantity while never enough is on par with what most places give. The sauce was more like a soup and I don't think anyone would complain if it was reduced by half. New England Clam Chowder - NE Clam Chowder is my favorite soup and Beach Creeks was very good. Fresh. Right amount of salt content. Good amount of clams and passed the thickness test. Entrees Maryland Crab Cakes - While the presentation was sub-par the crab cakes were very good. Could have been seared more but great flavor. The sides were average and the remoulade went well with the crab. Seared Scallops - The same the can be said about the scallops as I said about the crab cakes. They seemed slightly rushed. Again average side dishes. Would visit again
