Can't say enough about Kona. I ordered a 5-10 41L Twinner and the board is great. It was a custom order and there was a hiccup with the dimensions but Nick handled the issue well and the board is amazing. I surfed it in knee, waist and chest so far and it performed well in all those conditions. This was my first board from Kona and I wish I would have come to them sooner. I've tried so many boards and the smallest board I could find that worked in small waves was a 6-4 48L. The Twinner is so much better in small surf. I can't believe how a 41L board can catch tiny waves so easily. They have a nice range of boards and you can easily customize any dimensions on any of their boards. They also have demos you can try before buying. It's hard to believe you can get such a quality board that performs so well at such a fair price. I'm stoked to try more of their shapes.

What an awesome day yesterday! I’m on vacation at the Jersey shore and found this Kona Board House. A store for everything about boards(surfboards, skateboards, apparel and anything in between). They do rentals of the same boards and also repairs. Their choices of services on anything about boards are extensive. I never knew Jersey is a surfing town. Until I saw the Kona store. Just for that I’m thinking of maybe jumping on my boards again. Chris was the one who took care of my purchase. He’s been very helpful. I’ll definitely enjoy my vacation more with my new board. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I’ve been going to Kona for almost 30 years now so when it came to my first custom they were the only choice. I’m 6’4 with a 6’4 traveler, Short board for a big guy and they pulled it off! Super light yet floats like a dream. Perfect for me for the bigger days out there when I need to maneuver around but it feels good in all surf. Great customer service. Any time I wanted an update they shot over some pics, much more than any other shapers would do. Plus they will do any little detail you want from rocker, to tail.
